Laughter Is Good For The Soul
This past Wordless Wednesday, we debunked the myth that cats hate water by discussing some breeds – both domestic and wild – that love playing in and taking a dip in the water!
Today, I thought it would be fun to take a look at a different side of the picture – dogs who would rather not get their paws (or any other part of their body) wet! Have fun seeing the lengths that some dogs will go to in order to avoid getting a bath (plus a few brave souls who will do anything to take a much-needed dip!)

That is quite interesting. I do remember reading…or watching a show on tv about cats who really did love the water.

Thanks for the party! I loved the video it made me laugh and reminds me of my dog who absolutely hates baths. On the other hand Miss Kitty loves to play in the water. I usually find her water bowl splashed all over and she tries to get in the bath tub when it is full!
I’ve seen some amazing videos of cats and water – my cats love to play in it!
Hi Ramona – well, I’m finally finished! I am now free to work on all of my creative projects full-time and this is one of the first places I wanted to stop and get back on the weekly routine of “hopping.” I hope you are doing well these days and that God is blessing you with His joy, hope, and comfort. I know these have been difficult weeks and months for you, and you remain in my heart and in my prayers. I have missed being able to participate with all of my favorite online activities, and now that my JOB is over, I’m jumping back into my creative projects full-time. Today I discovered a very wet bathroom floor, wet toilet set, and empty toilet bowl.
Our new(ish) cat galloped down the hallway. Tracking him, I realized the carpet was wet too.
Oh yes, “Buck” is one of those kitties who likes to play in water.
