What’s Inspiring You This Week?
Here’s What’s Inspiring Me!
September is such an interesting month.
While many people are experiencing the first signs of fall,
Others are still in the throes of summer!
We are currently in the midst of a heat wave with
Searing temperatures in the triple digits!
If you are suffering from the heat –
Or are just in the mood for a healthy treat –
Why not treat yourself to some healthy homemade popsicles?
With several fruity flavors to choose from,
You’re sure to find a favorite to delight your entire family!
If you are a writer, artist, or creative individual who seeks
Inspiration and nurture when it comes to honing your craft,
May I recommend this wonderful book to you?
Consider it food for you artistic soul!
Is there a craft that you’ve never learned but always wanted to do?
For me, that craft would be quilting!
I’ve always loved the beautiful artistry one finds within the
Tapestry of a quilt and Terah’s creation jumped out at me
The moment she linked it at last week’s party!
Be sure to visit Terah’s blog to learn the story behind this quilt
As well as to see more of her gorgeous photos!
And – if you love quilts and a good story –
Check out the Quilts Of Love Series from Abingdon Press!
When I was a child, I learned a Bible song that went:
Jesus is the light of my salvation,
His banner over me is love…
That song came to mind when I was reading the post that
Accompanied Susan’s inspirational Art Journal Page that
Uses nautical metaphors to describe our Savior!
Susan created this page in response to a creative challenge.
She had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for a blog
Hosting a month-long nautical challenge – only to discover
She didn’t own a single nautical item in her stash!
Susan’s post and art pages are truly inspirational.
She is new to our community so I invite you to
Visit her blog and extend her a warm welcome!
What’s your favorite pie flavor?
Has it changed over the years?
If you love cherries,
Check out Megan Alyse’s favorite dessert:
Classic Cherry Pie!
Start your week off with a burst of beauty!
Visit Annabella – the Shabby Gypsy –
For a cornucopia of visual delights!
Do you have the decorating blues?
Could your décor use a quick pick-me-up?
Mel’s fun Ombre Scalloped Wreath might just be the cure!
It’s the perfect project for using up your left over felt scraps!
Do you have an old dresser in your home that’s seen better days?
Perhaps you’ll be inspired to work some makeover magic on it
After seeing what Patra has done with a touch of turquoise!
If you could create a show-stopping Fall Wreath
For your front door in 30 minutes or less, would you?
That’s the beauty of this DIY wreath over at Grandparents Plus!
Music To Inspire You – Unwritten

This week’s theme is a musical freebie –
Come join the party and link up your favorite song!
Today I’m sharing Natsha Bedingfield’s uplifting tune, Unwritten,
Which earned the distinction of being the

Talent is timeless.
