The Practice Of A Writing Life
If you are a writer, artist, or creative individual who seeks
Inspiration and nurture when it comes to honing your craft,
May I recommend this wonderful book to you?
Consider it food for you artistic soul!
Is there a craft that you’ve never learned but always wanted to do?
For me, that craft would be quilting!
I’ve always loved the beautiful artistry one finds within the
Tapestry of a quilt and Terah’s creation jumped out at me
The moment she linked it at last week’s party!
Be sure to visit Terah’s blog to learn the story behind this quilt
As well as to see more of her gorgeous photos!

Check out the Quilts Of Love Series from Abingdon Press!
Susan – Nautical Metaphors For Jesus
When I was a child, I learned a Bible song that went:
Jesus is the light of my salvation,
His banner over me is love…
That song came to mind when I was reading the post that
Accompanied Susan’s inspirational Art Journal Page that
Uses nautical metaphors to describe our Savior!
Susan created this page in response to a creative challenge.
She had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for a blog
Hosting a month-long nautical challenge – only to discover
She didn’t own a single nautical item in her stash!
Susan’s post and art pages are truly inspirational.
She is new to our community so I invite you to
Visit her blog and extend her a warm welcome!

Do you have an old dresser in your home that’s seen better days?
Perhaps you’ll be inspired to work some makeover magic on it
After seeing what Patra has done with a touch of turquoise!
If you could create a show-stopping Fall Wreath

Thank you for featuring my artwork and encouraging me after I had to close down and rebuild my creativity website from scratch.
Ironically, and to my surprise, I just found out my artwork is featured in the Sept/Oct issue of Somerset Studio magazine. God does work in mysterious ways :).
You encourage so many creative people through your website, and I wanted to thank you for all of your efforts. I know how much work websites are.
