Hungry For God… Starving For Time by Lori Hatcher

Hungry For God Starving For Time

The Bible teaches – and Jesus affirmed – that man does not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. In other words, we need daily spiritual nourishment from God’s Word in order to withstand the challenges and temptations that bombard us on a daily basis.

But what happens when our lives become so busy – our schedules so overcrowded – that we don’t have time to feast on God’s Word? What happens when we want to meet with God but feel we just don’t have the time?

Lori Hatcher can help.

Lori Hatcher recently released a book entitled Hungry For God… Starving For Time – Five Minute Devotions For Busy Women. This book provides the perfect solution for women who have the desire to meet with God and to grow spiritually – but who are pressed for time in the current season of their lives.

Hungry For God is filled with a series of devotions that will help you to stay God-focused even in the midst of your busiest of days.

The easy-to-read devotions feature eye-catching titles like My Latest Humiliation and pose questions such as “Where do I find strength when I feel beat up?”. They also include engaging stories and biblical lessons and takeaways that will speak to your heart and minister to you throughout the day.

How To Handle A Bad Hair Day

Lori says:

If you’re hungry for God, but starving for time, these five-minute devotions are like a spiritual power bar – packed with spiritual nutrition – just what you need to get through the day.

It’s my prayer that each devotion, selected with you in mind, will provide just what you need to grow in your relationship with God.

If you have felt the desire to spend time with God but haven’t known where or when to start, Hungry For God… Starving For Time is a great place to begin. I thoroughly enjoyed this devotional – chances are, you will too!
