Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
Quote Of The Week
Cats seem to go on the principle that
It never does any harm to ask for what you want.
Joseph Wood Crutch
One Content Cat
When you bring a cat into your home,
Nothing is more important than letting him know
How much he is loved.
Of course, some cats require more adoration than others.
Take Magellan, for instance.
No matter how much attention he receives,
He insists on being the sole focus of our attention!
Today Magellan was my shadow cat.
Everywhere I went, he was by my side.
When I sat down at my computer to do some writing,
He promptly walked across the keyboard –
Plopped down on my mouse –
And demanded a love fest!
Since I’ve learned that resistance is futile,
I stopped what I was doing,
Stroked and petted Magellan for a very long time,
And watched over him while he took napped in my work space!
Once he was relaxed,
I managed to reach over to my camera and snap today’s photo.
What I love about this shot is that his body language
So clearly communicates his contentment!
The slightly tilted upward lilt of his head –
Even in sleep – shows how pleased he is that the
Woman he loves most in the world
Clearly loves him too!

FABBY
Happy Easter to you too Fabby!
I just love the satisfaction [I was going to say catisfaction] on his face – so gorgeous! Purrfect!
I love word plays!
Aww! Magellan looks so proud, nice post heheh!
Have a pampertastic week 🙂
Thanks – hope your week is full of smiles!
Aw, that shot – pure bliss… 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Bliss – perfect word to describe his expression!
Must be funny having a shadow cat. I thought you were going to say Magellan started typing. LOL
He looks like he is really chill and content =)
Every live creature that we bring into our home should feel loved, if one can not take the time to care and dedicate time to another than they should reconsider bringing it into their home. I love the passion that you have for your cats.
This is another great picture, his expression is priceless.
Take Care!!
Love the way Magellan is holding his head……. can almost hear him purr! Plus…you have to be relaxed just by petting him.
When I’m working on my computer, my cat, Koko, will come sit on my keyboard when he wants attention, it’s hard to ignore and I usually give in 🙂 Thanks for the linkup!
Happy WW {on Tuesday} and thank you for hosting! Have a wonderful week and Happy Easter! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
Magellan is a cutie! I have 15 cats, some are verbal and meow for what they want, others lie to be with me like velcro. Prancie is the best at getting her point across, she knocks things down to get our attention and tries to open the treat drawer.
The video is wonderful, does not matter how big the cat is, “they love to play””
Thanks for hosting gain this week, always fun to come see what you have going on!!
Have a great week, Karren
Don’t you just love watching big cats frolic?
Have a wonderful week!
Oh, Magellan sounds like such an adorable, loving cat. How lucky are you to have such a sweet little shadow! My cat Lilly is my world, she’s always there waiting for a hug. Have a wonderful day!
Awww! He does look content! Thanks for the linky!
That is a happy and beautiful kitty. And lovely poem 🙂
Thank you Julie!
He is content!!!
Lady and Cuzco come running to me when I get home. I can also now call them to come to me!! Crazy, right?
And I can call Lady up to my lap to sit. She’s my little lap dog/kitty. 🙂 She has decided that a laptop in my lap is no reason to stop her from a nice rest. She just plops down and covers my hands and arms. Sometimes, she types stuff too. Not usually stuff I can repeat though! 😉
They both meow and really look us in the eyes to get our attention.
Have a wonderful Easter Ramona!
I LOVE Lady and Cuzco – they are just the sweetest kitties!
Sounds like they are made from the same mold as my cats.
My boys would sooner knock things to the ground than let anything stop them from their intended target (usually me or my husband!)
Magellan is forever editing my work and I am always worrying that he is going to send out a “surprise letter” or post to someone important!
Have a wonderful Easter too!
I sure have missed seeing Magellan every week and had a big smile on my face the second I saw him when this page opened! 😀 As always thanks a bunch for hosting this linky!
Wishing you a fabulous week!
Much love,
Lysa xx
Welcome to My Circus
So glad that Magellan brought a smile to your face Lysa – you simply must stop by more often! 🙂
You have a wonderful week too!
Thank you and I will definitely do my best to stop by more often. 🙂
xx

I had write this from my keyboard on my lap because my Moby is strewn all over my computer desk!
Moby the cat – love it! 🙂
I think Magellan must have finally killed my cordless mouse because it has stopped working for no discernible reason today.
Stuck using the back-up corded version until I can get a replacement…
Purring and closed eyes always communicate contentment to me! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Thinking of your wednesday blogs because I just adopted TWO kitties this month!
How exciting Colleen! Look forward to reading more about them and seeing their photos!
Magellan certainly DOES look contented! So much so that we shall follow his fine example. 🙂
Have a great Wednesday, Ramona.
Thanks – you too! 🙂
A little tap of the paw on the leg, a quiet squeaky meow, or the obvious jump in the lap.
Boy, you can say that again! LOL Have a Happy Easter and I hope Magellan don’t scare the Easter Bunny away! heehehe Thanks for the Linky! HUGS
Nice to see happy cats !
What a happy Magellan! I have also learned that it useless to resist Amelia’s insistant “love me now” plans. The thing is that she knows better than I what I need… and letting a cat is SO god for the health!
I meant petting but letting actually works too! 🙂
So very true – they seem to instinctively know when we need them, don’t they?
Now that we have become a dog family, my dachshund follows me everywhere. She sleeps on me, basically wants to be with me all the time.
🙂

That cat certainly does look content! Stop by my blog to enter a cat-related giveaway: a FroliCat BOLT!

He looks so blissful!. 🙂
He totally is at this moment – I LOVE how expressive Magellan is – you can always tell how he is feeling just by looking at his face!
Thank you for joining us at the Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday! I look forward to seeing you again next week!

Jingle Jangle Jungle
Wow!!! How festive! Glad they went for the easter egg and not the Easter bunny! 😉
So true – thanks for the smile!
Mom says she could sit and watch videos of big cats playing all day long. Mauricio is the demando cat in our house. Some others are demanding as well, but they are less obnoxious and vocal. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Ah Mauricio – there’s one in every household!
Such a content kitty!
I’d actually posted a clip of how our tuxedo cat lets me know it’s time for bed. He has some of the cutest mannerisms. 🙂
Can’t wait to see it – and I LOVE tuxedo cats!
Magellan looks really comfy 🙂 My cats do a very good job of communicating with me. Of course, an important part of communication is the listening or reading of what is being communicated too. We work together to understand each other.
Awesome points Robin! Communication is definitely a two-way street – and the real understandig begins when we listen to what the other “cat” is saying! 🙂
What a beautiful cat! Reminds me of my Tigger, but with long hair.
Tigger must be a gorgeous cat! 🙂
I know this isn’t the right thread, but we just wanted to wish you and yours a most blessed Easter from all of us at Zee and Zoey’s!!
Thanks Deb – you too!
That is a great Selfie!

May you have a blessed Easter.
Hoppy Easter,xx Speedy
A content cat is a happy cat and a happy cat makes a happy cat mom. 🙂
Loved the video. My boys watched it with me.
I look forward to reading your review on the book..
