Eternal Salvation DVD – Review
Have you ever noticed how often we avoid thinking about the really important things in life?
So many of us get so caught up in the cares of the world that that we never time to take a step back and assess where we’ve been, where we’re going, and what’s truly important…
That is, until a life-changing crisis occurs that makes us examine what really matters to us.
In the movie Eternal Salvation, we meet Jonathan Wright (Bradley Snedeker) – a man who is living the American dream. He has a beautiful wife, Amy (Jessica Morris), an adorable 7-year old daughter, Megan (Isabella Cuda), a prestigious job as Sr. Vice President of Business Relations at a well-established investment banking firm, and countess friends.
But none of these things can shelter Jonathan from a life-threatening, life-altering brain aneurysm that leaves him comatose in the prime of his life.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to awaken from a coma – but Jonathan is. He is given a second chance in life – a chance to do things over – a chance to do things better. When he awakens, he finds himself facing the grueling task of rebuilding his life. He also finds himself thinking about what’s important – what really matters in life.
This leads Jonathan on a quest to search for spiritual truth – one that takes a toll on his professional life and most of his relationships. Fortunately, in the midst of his trials, he develops a growing friendship with Paul Jenkins (Darren Dupree Washington), a devoted Christian who mentors him spiritually and helps him to confront the sins of his past so that he can discover the truth regarding his future.
So often, there are friends and family that really need to talk about the trials that they are going through and the important spiritual matters they are grappling with – but don’t know how to start.
Films like Eternal Salvation not only provide quality entertainment for the entire family, but they foster an environment that invites engaging and potentially life-changing conversation afterwards.
The Dove Foundation – an independent, non-profit organization that advocates for family-friendly movies and reviews films based on traditional Judeo-Christian values – awards Eternal Salvation their Faith Friendly Seal for ages 12+ and gives this “realistic and redemptive story” five Doves – their best rating.
