The Anonymous Source by A.C. Fuller – Book Review
Imagine you’re an intrepid young reporter who wants nothing more than to break out of the drudgery of routine courtroom reporting and into the flashy headlines of television news. Finally, you’re about to catch the break you’ve been waiting for your entire life.
You’ve been assigned to the story the entire city is watching – what appears to be a cut and dry murder case – but then, the unthinkable happens. You start receiving tips from an anonymous source who indicates that the guy on trial is innocent. At first you’re dubious – but you begin to investigate.
Strange things begin to happen. People you trust start to act untrustworthy. Could there be more to this story than meets the eye?
The Anyonmous Source is a gripping debut novel by A.C. Fuller that is narrated by Jeff Hayes on Audible – one that kept me enthralled during my entire listen! The narration is crisp and clear. Jeff is a talented vocal artist who masterfully brings the entire cast of characters and story to life. The recording is a pleasure to listen to.
The story itself actually has its roots in events that occur on the day of the 9/11 attacks. Alex Vane – our reporter for The New York Standard – finds himself drawn into a tangled web of lies, deceit, murder, and large-scale corruption that threaten to destroy him and those he cares about in the process.
If you enjoy thrillers and mysteries, then add The Anonymous Source to your reading and listening lists!
I rate this audiobook 5 out of 5 stars.

That sounds like such a great book! Almost like a John Grisham-type plot. I think we’d love it! Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com!

Yes – if you like John Grisham you will like this book! 🙂
Well, I do enjoy thrillers and I do enjoy mysteries and if you do too then you’re on my side of the room. This sounds like a very busy book to keep me going and not fall asleep because that’s what reading does to me. Thrillers has a tendency to keep me on the edge of my chair so if this is the case and I think it is it’s time to pick up this book and give it a go!!!
Definitely give this one a listen Marie – I know you’ll enjoy it! 🙂
