Meet Our Friend Of The Week Lisa

Lisa Verde

I have always admired artisans who have the ability to create beautiful jewelry out of baubles, beads and natural items. If you love handmade jewelry too and would like to learn more about what sparks their creative vision, I’d like to introduce you to Lisa Haven Verde – the blogger and jewelry designer behind Handmade Jewelry Haven – a refuge for all things beaded!

Lisa is a single Florida Mom who holds a degree in Interior Design. Shortly after her kids were born, she opened an online children’s hair accessory business, which eventually led her to explore many new avenues and ventures.

Seaglass Necklace

Lisa specializes in designing stunning handmade sea glass jewelry like this gorgeous Sea glass Pendant Kumihimo Beaded Necklace, which is currently available through her Handmade Jewelry Haven Etsy Shop.

You can currently read more about the history of sea glass, learn fascinating jewelry-making techniques, and vicariously participate in a letter-writing challenge on Lisa’s blog!

Comments mean the world to bloggers. Won’t you brighten Lisa’s day by dropping by her blog, introducing yourself, leaving a little comment love, and congratulating Lisa for being our Friend of the Week at Create With Joy?

I like jewelry but I never wear it. Not a single piece. I did when I was younger but when the girls came along, I just never had time for putting on jewelry and got out of the habit. But I do love to look at it and admire it on others especially handmade like today’s featured crafter! I also buy it for the girls. All 4 of them wear it either daily or on special occasions. Have a wonderful weekend!

I can relate Pam – I LOVE jewelry but I don’t wear it as often as I used too!
Trying to get back in the habit though as I feel wonderful when I do! 🙂

Just wanted to let you know I found your site a few weeks ago and I love visiting your linkup best of all! I’ve found some great blogs to follow, some great reads, and some new followers myself on here! My blog is fairly new and in the beginning stages, so this is a great place to grow and learn from other bloggers!!! Thanks for sharing!! Here’s my ‘introduce myself’ 🙂
My name is Stacy Duncan, I’m a thirty something homeschooling Mommy of 4 in Western NC. My husband is a Minister and we are currently living on campus at the Bible college he is attending! We packed everything up a year ago and dropped our entire lives to move here and follow Gods call on our lives, and our lives have been so blessed because of it!
I love to use my blog to share our adventures stepping out on faith, and what enormous blessings we have gotten since moving! Also I like to share about our homeschool life, and just life in ministry. Thanks and it was so nice to find this blog!
