NKJV Notetaking Bible – Book Review

When you read your Bible, where do you write down the things that God is impressing upon your hearts? I like to jot notes in the margins of my Bibles but find it difficult to do so in most Bibles because there simply isn’t room to do so. That’s what’s so special about the NKJV Notetaking Bible from B&H Publishing – this Bible was designed specifically with note-taking and Bible journaling in mind!

HCSB Notetaking Bible 3

The NKJV Notetaking Bible is a classic Black/Brown Bonded Leather Bible that makes a thoughtful gift for both men and women. This Bible contains the full text of the New King James Version translation in a single-column setting with abundant space for taking notes, recording insights, and jotting down observations in the lightly lined margins.

While the editors of the NKJV Notetaking Bible have included some basic reference material in this Bible, such as a concordance, color maps, a 1-year reading plan, and a presentation page, the focus of this Bible is on your interaction with the Word of God. At least one-third of each page is designated journaling space in this Bible – and between chapters, there are entire blank pages for illustrating and journaling!

The NKJV Notetaking Bible is a well-constructed Bible that’s a pleasure to hold and to carry. It fits comfortably in one’s hands and is made of quality materials, including lay flat binding. The pages are an off-white, creamy color that add a touch of elegance to each page.

The only drawback to this Bible is the 8 point font, which is smaller than many of us prefer (or can easily read!)

Aside from the tiny font, the NKJV Notetaking Bible is a well-designed Bible that will bring many years of pleasure to those of us who enjoy conversing with God on the pages of our Bibles.

I rate this Bible 4 out of 5 stars.

Journaling pages sounds amazing, but font that small wouldn’t be so great. My bibles are always so messy and marked up. 😉 Thanks for sharing at Literacy Musing Mondays.
