Little Fun Club – Subscription Box Review
When I was a growing up, there were two things I adored: going to the mailbox each day and discovering the joy of a special package waiting for me, and being transported to wonderful new worlds and meeting incredible literary characters every time I curled up with a brand new book.
That’s why I’m excited to be a part of the Little Fun Club Blog Tour. If you are looking for a way to get your kids excited about reading or are looking for the perfect gift for a child in your life, the Little Fun Club is it!
The Little Fun Club is a monthly subscription box of three children’s books that is perfect for children ages 0 to 12. Each book is rigorously screened and hand-picked based on your child’s age and any preferences you provide (for instance, if your child likes animal stories – let the Little Fun Club know and they’ll do their best to accommodate them!).
There are several benefits to joining the Little Fun Club:
- Since each box is individually curated, based on your child’s age and individual preferences, no two boxes are alike!
- As your child grows, the books automatically adjust to their new reading level!
- You can include up to three kids per box and the Little Fun Club will customize your box accordingly!
- If you receive a book that you already own, Little Fun Club will replace that book in the next box – no returns necessary!
- Shipping is free!
For my review box, I invited the Little Fun Club to surprise me with whatever books they wanted. I was SO excited when my box arrived. Not only did they do a beautiful job of wrapping everything (this is truly a gift-worthy service), I was wowed by the quality of books they sent!
My box was geared towards older kids and included the following books:
- Ollie’s Odyssey by William Joyce, $17.99, Simon Schuster
- The Great Unexpected by Sharon Creech, $17.99, Harper Collins Childrens
- Pax by Sara Pennypacker, $16.99, Harper Collins Childrens
Each of these hardcover books are quality editions that would make a wonderful gift for a child! The value of the books far exceeded the cost of the subscription (not to mention the savings in time and the joy of the surprise!) I included the retail prices of the books (above) so you can get an idea of what my box was worth and see what a great deal the Little Fun Club is.
