The Daily Question: My 5-Year Spiritual Journal – Book Review

Have you always wanted to keep a journal but find it hard to make the time to do so? Would you like to find an easy way to chronicle your spiritual journey over an extended period of time?

The Daily Question: My 5-Year Spiritual Journal offers a unique solution to both of these challenges!

The Daily Question is a compact, one-year journal that provides you with the space to record your answer to one question per page over the course of 5 years. The questions are interesting and pertinent and make you clarify your thoughts as there is not a lot of space to write – the book is small and you only have a few lines of space to write your answers.

Here are a few examples of the questions you’ll find inside of this book:

  • What prayer feels unanswered?
  • Write out one of your favorite Bible verses.
  • What intimidates you?
  • What is one spiritual goal you have?
  • What needs to be invented?

While I would have liked the book to have been larger, with more space to write my answers in, to lie flat, and to be a little easier to read (the questions are in tiny grey print – I had to pull out the flashlight on my phone to see them!) – I like that the book is portable and fits easily on my nightstand, and has an attractive cover and design.

Overall, I think that this is a wonderful concept for a book – one that could be even better with just a few little tweaks!

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars.
