Weruva Cats In The Kitchen Variety Pack #ChewyInfluencer Review

Happy New Year, dear friends – we hope your year is off to a fabulous start! Tsunami and I (Magellan) are having a fabulous year as so far as we ended 2017 with our cupboard being a bit on the bare side (too much holiday feasting, Mom says!) – but as always, our friends at Chewy.com have us covered.

This week they filled our home with deliciousness from Weruva (the company that makes “people food for pets”) and we couldn’t wait to delve into all of those pretty pastel cans!

What makes the Weruva Cats In The Kitchen Variety Pack Grain-Free Canned Food so special? As an avid label reader, you’ll find the answers right on the packaging!

  • Weruva uses only quality ingredients that are high in protein. There are no grains, gluten, potatoes, GMO ingredients, MSG or carrageenan in this proroduct, so it’s great for cat with allergies.
  • They’ve added taurine, which helps guards the heart, as well as vitamins and minerals for a complete and balanced diet.
  • The variety of delicious flavors help to entice picky eaters with real, deboned meat in a luscious gravy.
  • These formulas help cats stay properly hydrated, and can be served as a standalone diet or as a topper for dry food.

Of course, while I was busy giving Weruva’s latest offering the Royal Taste Testers seal of healthy ingredients approval, Tsunami was trying to decide which of these fun flavors he wanted us to sample first!

  • Funk In The Trunk: Chicken Recipe In Pumpkin Consumé
  • Kitty Gone Wild: Wild Salmon Au Jus
  • Chicken ‘Frick A Zee: Chicken Recipe Au Jus
  • Lamb Burgerini: Lamb Recipe Au Jus

Of course, being the poultry-loving kitty that Tsunami is, he insisted that Mom feed us the Chicken ‘Frick A Zee: Chicken Recipe Au Jus pronto! Fortunately for us, those Weruva cans were nice and easy for her to open, so we did not have to wait long for her to serve us up two delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering plates filled with healthy Chicken ‘Frick A Zee, covered in yummy Au Jus sauce.

Now, we don’t usually let the humans interject their two cents into our reviews (it’s their job to keep our plates filled!) but here’s what Mom observed during our Weruva taste-testing experience:

So, I fed Tsunami and Magellan – turned my back to them as I walked to the kitchen sink to wash their serving utensils – when all of a sudden I heard a loud meow! I turned around just in time to see Magellan looking at me with imploring eyes, protesting the injustice that his bigger brother Tsunami – know as “The Food Gulper” in our home – had inhaled his Weruva and was now eating his slower-paced brother’s food! For a different brand, Magellan would let this injustice slide, but for the Weruva? He was having none of it! I had to stop what I was doing and hand-hold Magellan’s plate out of Tsunami’s reach so that Magellan could finish his meal in peace…

In any event, the Weruva was good! If Tsunami and I had anything to complain about, it would be that Mom did not give us our own individual cans! (Now we know that there are days when she splits cans of food with other brands and we leave half of it sitting on the plate but seriously – this is Weruva! No leftovers when Weruva is in the house! Oh well – we may not get a whole can at breakfast – but at least we have dinner to look forward too!)

That looks like an awesome product! We had to get special food for our cat because of his sensitive stomach. But he still loves anything with a tuna flavor.

Well, maybe next time you get your own cans. I’m glad you’re enjoying your new eats. I am eating very little can food these days. I do use the Weruva brand litter.

  15. Kitties Blue says:

We’ve always had some clean platers around here. Sawyer is now one, and he has to be served first in another room with the for closed or he will whiz through his food and everyone else. We are not really fond of any food that is not pate. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
