Three Interactive Devotionals From Ellie Claire – Book Review
Have you ever walked through your bookstore and stopped cold in your tracks by the sight of an absolutely stunning book cover?
That’s the reaction the editorial team of Ellie Claire must have been aiming for when they designed their latest collection of devotional journals because Peace Begins With Me, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, and The Earth Is The Lord’s And Everything In It are absolutely breath-taking, inside and out!
Each of these themed books feature 365 daily devotions on colorful, artistically rendered pages with prayer prompts and journaling space for you to capture your responses, insights and innermost thoughts!
In keeping with the high standards you’d expect from Ellie Claire, the pages are thick and thirsty so you can use your favorite pens and markers without fear of bleed-through! Each of the devotional journals also features color-coordinated elastic bands that make it easy for you to mark your place in the book!
I’m so glad I received copies of each of these books to review because honestly, I’d have a hard time picking one of them over another! I love peacocks, so the gorgeous artwork of The Earth Is The Lord’s And Everything In It, – a book that helps you to explore nature, the creative expression of God, and your own creativity – in an outstanding choice for those who find renewal in nature.
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus – also filled with gorgeous pink floral artwork – helps us to keep our focus on Jesus throughout each days. This book is a particularly good choice for the music lovers among us as it features a line from a beloved hymn or song in each devotion – something that definitely speaks to my heart!
But if you are more theologically minded – or if you’re going through a particularly stressful time in your life – then , Peace Begins With Me, is the perfect choice for you. These devotions will help you to find peace in your daily lives by praising God and pursing the Prince of Peace!
Whether you’re looking for a daily devotional and journal for yourself or someone you love, you can’t go wrong with any of these gorgeous books.
Can’t choose? Make devotional reading and journaling a daily habit and use one book in the morning, one book at lunchtime, and another book in the evening to really transform your spiritual life and walk with God in the New Year!

Gorgeous and I like the prompts inside. Added The Earth is Mine to my want list.
Awesome and it’s so nice to see you here Robin!
2018 was crazy and I sort of fell by the wayside on my challenges (although not on my reading).
Hope we can catch up more in the New Year! 🙂
Me as well. I talked hubby (didn’t have to twist his arm too much) into getting The Earth is the Lord’s for me for Christmas. 🙂
