Wooing Cadie McCaffrey – Book Review

Wooing Cadie McCaffrey

Wooing Cadie McCaffrey by Bethany Turner

Since summer is the season to lose yourself in a light read, what could be more fun than curling up with a good romantic comedy? Wooing Cadie McCaffrey by Bethany Turner fits the bill – in part because it will resonate with those of us who have ever thought we’ve met Mr. Right, only to find ourselves in what appeared to be a dead-end relationship!

On the outside, Cadie McCaffrey and Will Whitaker have a fairy-tale romance. They meet on her 30th birthday – fall in love at first sight – but, four years later, find that their relationship has hit some snags. So, when 34-year old Cadie does not receive the proposal she’s been anticipating at a critical juncture in their relationship, she loses faith in Will.

Angry, disappointed and hurt, Cadie sends Will packing with his walking papers.

What Cadie doesn’t realize, however, is that even though communication with Will is at low point, he really does love Cadie, and is willing to do whatever it takes to show her how much he loves her. So, on the misconstrued advice of Cadie’s bestie, Will turns to her favorite romantic comedies and enlists the help of his friends to bring the most memorably romantic scenes to life!

Sounds like the perfect plan. What could go wrong?

Although this book does deal with many important issues that couples must work through during their dating days, such as the impact of premarital sex on one’s relationship, overall, Wooing Cadie McCaffrey is a fun, enjoyable read.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
