Friend Of The Week – Morsels Of Life

Morsels Of Life

Now that Autumn is here and cooler weather is falling upon us, it’s time to get back into the kitchen and whip up some new, yummy recipes for our families to enjoy! With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to CJ Huang and Morsels Of Life. a blog that teaches you how to cook using everyday materials and methods!!

CJ says:

My cooking philosophy is pretty simple and straightforward – I like using everyday materials and easy to prepare (aka lazy aka efficient) methods. Maybe it’s the engineer in me, but I’m a fan of efficiency. I don’t use exact measurements when cooking, but I list them here as a way to get an idea of how much I used.

Generally, if you like something, use more; if you dislike something, use less, substitute something else, or just eliminate it altogether.
You’ll probably be fine. 🙂

Coconut Banana Bread

What I discovered, as I explored CJ’s blog, was one delicious recipe after another! I’ve been hankering a good quick bread lately, so I can’t wait to try CJ’s Coconut Banana Bread (I love the taste of coconut!)

English Toffee Recipes

Another treat that sounds delicious is CJ’s English Toffee Cookies. This looks like the kind of recipe that will keep everyone who tries a bite coming back for seconds and even thirds!

Mango Salsa

Planning a party? CJ’s Mango Corn Salsa will have partygoers dipping and chipping all night!

Making new friends is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Be sure to visit CJ this week, explore her blog, and congratulate her for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy?
