I love the Sound of Music! I’ve been watching it with my mom since I can remember and when I was little she used to sing Edelweiss for me when I couldn’t sleep. It was my favorite song. And since my name is Maria she used to sing how do you solve a problem like Maria, ALL the time 🙂 I know what I’m doing this afternoon. Thanks so much for the party and the great memories
Those really are some pretty things and that cake looks really yummy too!
Love the Lonely Goatherd with the puppets! Ha!
The Sound of Music movie is a masterpiece. The music (especially Edelweiss, which many people don’t even realize it wasn’t a preexisting song), and that mountain beginning – one of the best beginnings in movie history. My brother in law and his wife visited the Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont many years ago and brought back a CD of the Trapp Family Singers – the real ones.
Just a cool song. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful Monday.
Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
Hugs,
Debbie

I love all the songs from the sound of music. They are such fun to sing with grandkids! Thanks for hosting.
I actually remember seeing The Sound Of Music in the movie theater when it first came out smack in the middle of Lent, and I had given up candy!
That bundt cake is singing to me like Julie Andrews.
Thank you fort all the inspiration every week!

This is what I featured the week of 2-17 to 2-22 on my blog. On Tuesday we started with my Lil Leprechaun Snack Mix. Wednesday was a Green Pistachio Sweet Bread. Thursday I featured a batch of Green Velvet Cupcakes. And winding up Baking Week for St Patrick’s Day I posted Not All Flour is Created Equal. It is part of my Tip Friday Series. Enjoy!
Thank you so much for hosting. This week I am excited to share how to turn photos into artwork. Hope you have a wonderful week!
You always have great recipes and now you also have two very very cool tunes. Love the Sound of Music. I’m definitely going to have to come back for some of these recipes. Tuesday I have “SHOW OFF TUESDAY” where you can show off those recipes if you like… or any reviews & give-aways. Please come over and share a few if you like. Thank you so much.
Ramona,
WOW, what inspiration this morning! I found several posts that I liked saving recipe ideas for some interesting evening dinners. I can’t wait to give these a try. “The Sound of Music” is not only a wonderful film but the soundtrack is filled with some great mewsic. Thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor, my dear. Have a boogietastic week!
I LOVE the Sound of Music! Thanks for hosting!
I love The Sound of Music—both the movie and the songs! It is a classic that will never ever go out of our minds and hearts, considering the impact that it has had on the collective sensibility of a few generations of cinema lovers.
Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
Cheers
