Music To Inspire You
Welcome To
Music Moves Me!

David’s Harp and Psalms for Peace and Calm

Trustworthy - Lysa Terkeurst

Did you know that there is spiritual power in music?

This Fall, I am working my way through Trustworthy – a Lysa Terkeurst Bible study about the Old Testament kings of Israel. The study is quite interesting – we’re not only getting a high-level look into the lives of some of the major kings, but as we examine their short-comings, we’re learning how their failures can illustrate areas in our own lives where we need to deepen our trust in God!

One of the passages I recently read was 1 Samuel 16:14-23, which describes how King Saul (the first king of Israel) became troubled by an evil spirit. The only thing that can soothe and calm his troubled soul is the harp-playing of David (the future king).

This week, I’d like to share some beautiful harp music that I came across while I was looking for something peaceful to play in the background as I go about my daily tasks. This music is also perfect if you need something soothing to lull you to sleep at night or something to listen to as you read, write or blog!
