Friend Of The Week – Living Our Days
November is upon us and it’s come in with a roar! While this is the month when our nation traditionally begins to turn its focus towards Thanksgiving and examining all of the many things we have to be thankful for, our nation is currently preoccupied with the pending election results, with things that divide, and with what the future holds.
During times of uncertainty, it’s comforting to spend time with people who shine light into the darkness, speak truth into our hearts, and uplift our souls, That’s why this week is the perfect time to visit Michele Morin at Living Our Days – a blog focused on helping us “gain hearts of wisdom”.
Michele is a Maine-based writer, speaker and gardener who loves to read and share the truth of the Bible with women in her church and around the world! In addition to being married for over 30 years, she’s mom to four grown sons with three children of their own plus pet parent to adorable St. Bernard Tucker!
Michele believes that “the way we live our days will be, after all, the way we live our lives”. Throughout her blog, you’ll find calls to raise your standard of daily living. For the month of November, Michele is encouraging us to rethink and redefine how we express Gratitude in our daily lives. What are you grateful for today? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
Prolific writers are avid readers and Michele is no exception. Are you looking for good books to read – books that will stretch your horizons, challenge your perspectives and encourage you to grow? The Book Talk is the place to be. In her latest edition, Michele examined four books, including Cindy Bunch’s Be Kind To Yourself, which invites us to examine the routines and rhythms of our lives while asking ourselves questions such as “What’s bugging you?” and “What’s bringing you joy?”
Sunday Scriptures is one of Michele’s most popular features. Each week, she delves into the pages of her Bible and helps us to not only explore the meaning of various texts but also teaches us principles of sound biblical interpretation. For example, Michele recently asked us to consider What Is Jesus Really Promising? in Matthew 7:7-8 – a popular passage about prayer. If you’re looking for a good way to learn more about Scripture, Michele is a Bible teacher you can trust!
Making new friends and deepening existing relationships are two of life’s greatest pleasures. Be sure to visit Michele’s blog this week, comment on your favorite articles, and congratulate her for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy!

“God is at the center of all things. Life becomes easier when we recognize and live with this truth.” – Catherine Wilcox
Today I am very grateful for the opportunity to help my best friend publish and release her first book on Amazon. Catherine has been a Coach and Mentor for me since I met her 38 years ago. Through researching how to reach book bloggers to help her promote her book, I was blessed to come upon your website.
Congrats to Catherine and thanks Jan for sharing the news! 🙂
I will check out Michele’s blog. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice weekend.

The USA has had a tense time of it, so I hope things will resolve and be happier from now on!
Have a good week.
She has some great reflections on living a full life
