Friend Of The Week – Homemade On A Weeknight

Fresh Lavender Wreath

As we transition from April to May, could you use some ideas for unwinding? There’s no better way to clear your head than to create something amazing with your hands! For inspiration, this week we’re visiting Lisa, the DIY’er behind Fresh Vintage By Lisa. That’s her happy space where she shares her love of thrift shopping, junk collecting, and creative vintage projects!

One of the first things to catch my eye on this week’s visit to Lisa’s blog was the Fresh Lavender Wreath she created! Creating a fresh lavender wreath is the perfect way to unwind because the color and scent of the lavender is so soothing. A beautiful wreath like this not only makes a perfect addition to your home, it makes the perfect gift too!

Recycled Junk Mail Envelopes

Have you ever heard the saying “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure?” Lisa shows us how true this adage is by stockpiling all of the clear windowed business envelopes from her family’s junk mail and recycling them into beautiful vintage folders! The transformation will stun you and make you wonder – what can you do with your family’s Recycled Junk Mail Envelopes?

Refinished Milking Stool

I’m not sure when she found the time – but Lisa also managed to visit one of her favorite thrift stores, pick up a unfinished milking stool for a fraction of the cost, refinish it, and incorporate it into her family’s décor! Makes me wish I knew how to Refinish A Milking Stool!

Making new friends and deepening existing relationships is a joy. Be sure to visit Fresh Vintage By Lisa this week, leave Lisa some comment love, and congratulate her for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy!
