I think my biggest struggle is getting into the routine of setting aside a time slot for reading.

My biggest struggle is two-fold; finding the time when none of my family members or any of the dogs will disturb me so I can read The Word in peace and quiet and being able to have the same amount of time available every day so I can get a routine going so that I get used to and look forward to reading The Word. Right now because it’s such a hassle, I dread sitting down to read it, not because I don’t want to but because I know I will be interrupted by all 3 family members and they’ll complain.
Busy households definitely make reading the Bible a challenge (but not an impossibility!)
Can you schedule your reading time when non one is arrive or where you are likely to have a bit of privacy?
If you set a schedule, you can also talk to your family and let them know not to disturb you during that time.

I get that – I am in a busy season too!
On the days when you don’t have a lot of time to read, find one verse to meditate on all day.
That will help you stay connected to God and experience the peace you are craving!
