This weekend we celebrate Memorial Day in the United States – a holiday to commemorate all those in the Armed Forces who have given their lives in service of their country. Memorial Day also marks the unofficial start of Summertime!

Thanks for hosting! I shared some gifts I put together for Mother’s Day, but they would make great end of the year Teacher Gifts too!
We’re going to be cooking my infamous ribs on the grill this weekend – other than that, we’re going to be relaxing, working out in the yard and enjoying the pending amazing weather we have coming! 🙂
As for summertime activities – the thing I’m looking forward to most is our big move back to Seattle this summer! It’ll be so nice to not be 3000 miles away from my parents and siblings. 🙂

We are going to be having some family over on Sunday for a bbq. We will celebrate the holiday with them, as well as my son and hubby’s birthdays. As for Monday, I am hoping to get some gardening and canning done. 🙂
