One of my all time favorite things to do is bake and I think it is because I had such good times with my mother as a little girl baking with her. I am hoping to pass these warm memories on to my grandchildren.
Every Friday we had a Ukrainian supper and I enjoyed helping my Mom make this meal.
When I was very young my mother taught me a great deal. She influenced my interest in reading and taught me the value of learning and books. I continue to enjoy books and my children and grandchildren love books and reading.

I used to love taking my Mom to see the flowers and bluebonnets after we lost my Dad. Mom loved going on long drives to see them.

My mother is also my best friend. Growing up she was just my mother, but as I’ve grown up into mother and wife, she has been their as my best friend. We enjoy shopping, garage sales, antiquing, eating at our favorite places and just being together. Too many things to just pick one, but I love the support and love that she offers on a daily basis.
