Wordless Wednesday – Halo Is Just Heavenly!

Magellan - Halo Feature 1

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Halo Grain Free Canned Cat Food
#ChewyInfluencer Review

This week, we celebrated a major milestone in Magellan’s life. My precious purr-baby turned four!

While Magellan is maturing into a dashing Maine Coon man-cat, he hasn’t entirely left his kittenish ways behind him. On the eve of his birthday, while I was snoozing on the sofa, I awoke to a loud thud and discovered that on one of his mad dashes through the house, he had sent one of our few remaining vases crashing to the floor into a million smithereens!

I’m not sure who the crash frightened more – Magellan or me – but all was forgiven as we watched him scowl at the vase from beneath the safety of the dining room table. Of course, our backs and knees were not quite as forgiving as we spent the evening trying to pick up every last shard so they would not get stuck in our babies precious paws…

Magellan Surveys The Halo

In spite of this transgression, however, Magellan’s sweet and thoughtful ways throughout the year have earned him his angel wings, and we decided to kick off the festivities by lavishing him with heavenly treats from Chewy.com!

Magellan Discovers The Halo

The excitement started when Magellan walked into the kitchen and discovered that his usual bowl of kibble had been replaced with colorful cans filled with healthy, holistic, gourmet delights in not one, but two mouth-watering flavors!

I kicked off his special week by treating Magellan and Tsunami to Halo Chicken Recipe Grain-Free Indoor Cat Canned Cat Food a hoslistic diet dish that my cats describe as simply divine! My boys turned into absolute snarf-a-larf-a-gusses over this meal!

Magellan Meets Halo

The Halo pate meals come in a case of a dozen large 5.5 ounce cans. We usually get 2 to 4 meals out of them depending on how much they like the food. Perhaps it was the excitement of seeing all of the colorful cans before them, but on the first day I fed them the Halo Chicken Recipe, my boys polished off the entire can!

Tsunami ate his meal – tried to help his brother out – and then insisted that I give him the remainder of the can!

Magellan Loves Halo

The next day, the Royal Taste Testers fell in love with the Halo Turkey & Duck Recipe Grain-Free Indoor Cat Canned Cat Food. They’ve been happily and heartily helping themselves to generous (though more reasonable) portions of that meal as well!

Magellan Enjoying His Halo

Because of Halo’s Grain Free dishes, our home is no longer a safe haven for fowl of any type! So, what’s in Halo that makes these recipes so heavenly to even the finickiest of cats? Here’s what Halo says:

Feeding your feline friend a holistic diet makes a whole lot of difference thanks to this delicious food made with real, whole-meat protein and never any meat-meals or by-products. Sustainably-raised, cage-free chicken and chicken liver (and cage-free turkey and turkey giblets) are the very first ingredients, along with a wholesome variety of non-GMO garden fruits and vegetables. The grain-free formula in this special recipe is easy on your kitty’s tummy and he’ll love the highly-digestible, savory flavor. Vitamins, minerals and trace nutrients, including taurine for his eyes and heart, are added to help keep your happy cat healthy–inside and out.

This Halo Is Yum!

Considering how much Tsunami and Magellan are enjoying the Halo Grain-Free Indoor Cat Canned Cat Food, I’m pleased to report that Chewy.com carries a wide variety of flavors at rock-bottom prices, as I’m sure the Royal Taste Testers will insist that I feed them more Halo in the future!

Funny you should mention “well stocked” Karren – they were chowing down for several days before I took the photos –
so much so I was worried that if I didn’t take my photos soon, there would be no food left to photograph!

Sure looks like they enjoyed it. I keep saying I need to add wet food to the girls’ diets, but still haven’t. Alice still doesn’t seem to like it much, no matter what kind.
