Bout Of Books Aug 2013

Bout Of Books Read-A-Thon – Overview

The Bout of Books Read-A-Thon is a week-long event that’s organized by Amanda at On a Book Bender and Kelly at Reading the Paranormal. The Read-A-Thon begins at 12:01 am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in.

Bout of Books is low-pressure event; the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week.

However, there are also optional challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize to enhance your reading pleasure!

For more information about the Bout of Books 8.0 Read-A-Thon and to sign up for this event, be sure to visit the Bout Of Books blog!

      Hi Julie,

I believe Bout Of Books happens twice a year – if you can’t make this one, I suggest you check the site at the end of the week to see if they announce the dates for the next one (and mark your calendar)!

Otherwise, stay tuned here as I regularly join, announce and post upcoming read-a-thons and other blogging events! 🙂

  2. One of these days I’ll participate in one of these. 🙂

I’m doing a give away for a book on my blog too, if you are interested in adding another book to your reading list. It’s my self-published full length fairy tale :

I may not get a chance to blog about it or review as I would like, but I am going to challenge myself this week just because I like the idea!
