Here’s What’s Inspiring Me!

This week I am impacted by life and death and
Inspired by writing from the heart…

Remembering Susan

Susan - June 2007

Thanks to all of you who have prayed for my sister-in-law.
Earlier this year, God granted us a miracle and
Gave us the gift of precious time with her.
Now He has given Susan the gift of eternal rest
And has called her home.

This is the third family member we have lost this year.
We walk each day in God’s mercy, love and strength.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Pamela Kuhn – Staying Close Through Tragedy

Heal A Broken Heart

It’s never easy to lose someone you love…
Especially when that someone is your child.

If you or someone you know is faced with this circumstance,
I encourage you to read Pamela’s story and tips on
How to move through the darkness.

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing this difficult experience with us and
Offering others encouragement and hope!

Barbara Issac – Casualty Of War

Casualty Of War

When I was in school studying American History,
I learned that one of the greatest tragedies of the Civil War
Was that it turned fathers against sons, brothers against brothers.

The consequences of war are more far-reaching
Than we can ever conceive.

My heart broke as I read Barbara’s story of her and her sister –
Connected by DNA but separated by a lifetime of choices.

I pray with Barbara as she continues to cultivate
An attitude of gratitude…

Because you felt you weren’t qualified to do the task?

In her inspiring article, Stop Limiting God,
Joy reminds us that God doesn’t call the qualified –
He qualifies the called!
