  1. Thank you so much for this opportunity to connect and share! I always enjoy Friendship Friday! I’ve brought 3 posts this week, The Hearth and Soul Link Party where everyone is welcome, a Lemon Drizzle Cake (with an Elderflower and Lemon version similar to the Royal Wedding Cake) and a post about Cliveden House, where Meghan Markle is spending the night before the Royal Wedding.
My favourite colour is definitely blue, any and all shades. I wear it, have it in my home and seek it out everywhere.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

My favorite color is blue. Thank you for hosting.

  3. Bernadette says:

Purple! and Blue! and Orange! and Green! and…Each of the colors is my favorite at one time or another! Happy Friday!

  4. Pam says:

My favorite color was always blue, but for some reason, I always lean toward the pinks when I create cards, layouts, etc. Even for my blog! So, maybe my favorite color is pink after all? Thanks for hosting!! I am going to try to be a regular, now that our life (well, parts of our life!) have settled down a bit!

  5. Thank you for hosting! My offerings this week include a Red White and Blue Cheesecake, Banana Bread, and 15 minute Fish Tacos. I am confused you have 2 linkys with the same name overlapping for entries. I added to both. Sorry wasn’t sure which was which!

This is such an inspiring chat topic. I can no longer see colors (I’m blind), except synesthetically when I read Braille (the letters feel like they’re colored). My favorite colors are blues, greens and purples, but I usually wear neutral colors like grey and black, because then at least I am assured I don’t look totally off.

Hi! I’m Patty Anne, author of the blog, Brokenness Redefined. This is actually the 3rd blog I’ve had, each one fitting a different season of life. Brokenness Redefined is my journey from brokenness to healing…God has redeemed a lifetime of pain and has replaced it with peace and joy that only comes from Him.
Thank you for the link-up; I’ve tried putting your button on my blog, but for whatever reason, it never works…the problem is most likely with me since I’m still not the savviest at website repairs!
In response to your questions…my favorite color is blue, yet my favorite color to wear is black; figure that one out? Over the years, I’ve grown to love burnt orange as well.
Some of my fav things to do are: Blogging, reading novels, and reading other blogs! I’m a busy mama to 5 kiddos, and am married to my best friend. Have a great weekend.

I love purple!!! Always have!!! I also really love aqua, and yellow, because I have a thing for pineapples! 🙂 Love this blog!

Thank you for hosting, Ramona, Tsunami and Magellan. We hope you’re having a great weekend. 🙂

Oh, and my favorite color is blue.

  10. My favorite color has changed through the years–it was purple through high school and in my 20’s and 30’s. Then pink took the #1 position for awhile, but for the last several years green is my #1. I love all shades of green. It’s my favorite color to wear as well as decorate with.

I started blogging back in 2006, and I have had many different blogs since then. As the seasons of my life changed, so my blogging focus changed as well. In the beginning of my blogging days, blog world was friendlier than it is now. It was easier to make friends. Now, the focus seems to be on “growing your blog” and becoming bigger and bigger. Most bloggers I visit do not return visits. That’s disheartening, and it has caused me to reconsider if I even want to blog anymore.

The answer is that I enjoy blogging, so I started my blog back up back in April. I blog at Blogger (which I understand REAL bloggers don’t do), and I don’t concern myself with branding my blog or promoting my blog on social media (I’m not on any social media). Blogging is a hobby for me, and just as doing other things for a hobby is perfectly acceptable, so, too, is blogging. I’ve realized that just because I don’t aspire to make my blog a business, it doesn’t mean I can’t blog.

Anyhow, my blog is called Celebrating Our Days, and it is devoted to home, family, hospitality, embracing joy, and making the most of the days the Lord gives us.

I am linking up 2 posts today—one an older one about reaching out to others, the other from this week about celebrating over 100 years of marriage.

    Blessings,
    Patti

  11. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend.

  12. Shelley says:

Thank you for this wonderful site and giving us the opportunity to share with & learn from each other! I’ve only been visiting a short while but already feel the joy!
Hmm…my favorite color, hands-down, is blue (like many others, it sounds like!)…especially a robin’s egg blue. There’s something so calm and hopeful and joyful about that color. Strangely, as a little girl and teenager by favorite color was racy red. So the fact that it’s now changed to calm, joyful blue must mean I’m mellowing and maturing!
Thank you again and I look forward to making many friends and being very inspired here!
    Best…

Thanks for sharing Shelley – don’t you love how our colors and temperaments can change over time?
I’ve always loved sky blue – but I’ve added pink and purple to my list of faves!

  13. I think green is y favorite color. I really like most colors but seem to have a lot of green things.

  14. Betty says:

My favorite color is purple, which means royalty.
