Little Women – 2018 Movie Review

I want to write something that won’t be forgotten after I die.

– Jo, Little Women (2018 Movie)

September 30, 2018 marks the 150th anniversary of Little Women – the beloved literary classic by Louisa May Alcott that has bonded mothers, daughters, and sisters for generations. To celebrate the occasion, Pinnacle Peak – an Arizona-based film company that specializes in bringing inspirational movies to theaters across North America – is releasing its modern-day rendition of Little Women at a movie theater near you on Friday, September 30, 2018.

Gal pals, gather your moms, sisters, aunts and BFFs and book your tickets to see this film – it’s a heartwarming drama that you will not want to miss!

Little Women - Marmee and the Girls

Little Women (the 2018 movie) is the contemporary re-telling of the story of the March sisters – Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy – as they grow up, come of age, and struggle to find their way in the world.

Little Women - The Sisters

Jo – an aspiring novelist – goes to New York to pursue her dreams of becoming a novelist. She arrives bright and starry-eyed, but soon finds herself contending with rejection after rejection – and struggling with her editor’s advice to write a more personal story.

This leads to a series of flashbacks into the lives of the March sisters, where we begin to discover who they are, explore their dreams and aspirations, discover their talents, and learn what love and life is all about.

Little Women - Jo and Beth

The movie perfectly captures the joys and heartbreaks of growing up, of falling in and out of love, of dealing with challenging emotions and relationships, and learning how the ties that bind some families together can truly transcend the most difficult of times.

Little Women - Wedding

If you are a movie buff, you’ll enjoy the cinematography of Little Women. This movie is beautifully filmed, perfectly cast (with Lea Thompson from Back To The Future as Marmie, Sara Davenport, Ian Bohen, and Lucas Grabeel and Bart Johnshon from High School Musical), and features a great soundtrack too!

This PG-13 movie is sure to become one of your favorites. Be sure to purchase your tickets at a movie theater near you today!
