Beautiful Blogger Award

A day ago, I received a nice surprise from Kindred Spirit Evalina at This And That. She was writing to tell me that she has been following my blog since One World One Heart and wanted to bestow me with a Beautiful Blogger Award!
Thank you so much Evalina – I was thrilled to receive your letter, and excited to receive my first blogging award!
Now, accepting this award comes with a few rules and responsibilities:

2. Thank the person who gave you the award.

4. Display the award on your blog.

5. Share ten things your readers may not know about you.

So, in the spirit of this award, here’s a few things you may not know about me – and here are my recipients of this award!

Ten Things You Might Not Know About Me
1. My favorite story of all time is Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings.

2. My favorite poet is e. e. cummings. I love how he plays with language!

3. I’m a magazine junkie!
4. I love boating, even though I can’t swim!
5. I love white water rafting.
6. I love parasailing.
7. I love big dogs! If I had the right one, I’d train him for animal therapy!
8. I love the Caribbean!
9. I love puzzles and strategy games of all types!
10. I try to live out Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
