A Multi-Challenge Sympathy Card

A Multi-Challenge Sympathy Card

September is a month I associate with loss, so as soon as I saw Elephantastic’s challenge to make a Remembrance / Sympathy card, I knew I wanted to create something beautiful, uplifting, and comforting.

Interior of Card

I used these challenges as inspiration during the design process:

Anything Goes Challenge Blog Week 14: Say It With Flowers
Creative Belli Challenge #99: Old Stamps
Ellephantastic Challenge #10: Remembrance / Sympathy
Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC 45

Back of Card

The majority of the products featured on this card are from CTMH:

Cardstock: White, Vanilla Cream, Hollyhock, and Chocolate
Chocolate Organdy Ribbon and Bubblegum Waxy Flax
Chocolate Bigger Brad
Dye Ink Pads: Chocolate, Hollyhock, Bubblegum
C1088 Comforting Thoughts Stamps
D1186 Rustic Flowers My Acrylix Stamps
D1187 For Every Occasion Stamps

I also added a flower and some dewdrops – just like the ones in the PDCC Color Challenge photo!

Play Date Cafe Challenge 49

Although I’ve designed this card as a source of comfort, you could easily adapt this design to the occasion of your choice!

I hope you have a wonderful day! If you’re in need of additional ideas for sympathy cards, click here.
