Recently, I began creating a Book Of Me using Altered Torsos as the medium of expression. I had lots of fun exploring my extroverted glitzy side with my first torso, Fashioinista, but I wanted to tone things down a bit for my second tag, so for Torso 2, I decided to explore the inner quality of Kindness. I combined the beautifully muted tones of brown, black, and cream with flowers, music, and pearls because they represent harmony to me – something we create when we are kind to those around us. I included transparencies as a symbol of authenticity in our motives and relationships. The beautiful paper is one of my favorite patterns from CTMH; the transparencies are from Creative Imaginations (Karen Russell); the flowers are from Prima; the pearls are from Recollections (Michaels); and the distress ink is from Colorbox.
