these are great recipes! i bought some rum this past weekend because i loved the bottle and the name…and it turned out to taste quite good as well (imagine that)–just yesterday i was saying to my brother in law..i think it would be delicious in a rum cake…and now…here i have a recipe for one…what great luck! thank you for sharing with tuesday night supper club…and happy new year!

How dare you post this at New Years? Don't you know I'm trying to lose my holiday weight, lol. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm not much of a baker, unless you count brownies out of a box or making cookies by adding an egg and butter to a mix.

Paper Princess, I am loving the butter rum cake recipe. I tasted this type of cake for the first time some years ago when on a cruise in Jamaica. Being able to make a cake like that myself would be heaven! Thank you for sharing your ideas at Monday Mania!
