Wordless Wed: Gifts For Your Kitties

Keep Your Kitties Happy – Treat Them Special This Christmas

When you’re finalizing your Christmas lists and checking them twice – make sure you treat your furry friends to something fabulous so you’re not greeted by icy stares and loud cat wails on Christmas morning!

Tsunami Loves His Leopard Print Tunnel

One unique gift your kitties are sure to love is a fully lined leopard cat tunnel like the one we purchased for Tsunami three years ago! As a kitten, Tsunami loved to zoom through his tunnel as we rolled balls and ran toys through it for him to chase. He spent hours playing with the little ball that dangles from one end and the strings that allow you to tie multiple tunnels together! I’m convinced we derived as much enjoyment watching him pop in and out of his tunnel as he had actually doing it!

Cats Are Like Kids.
If You Do Something For One – Plan On Doing It For All!

If you have multiple cats – especially large ones like ours – plan on getting multiple tunnels! Tsunami loved his tunnel so much, he did not want to share, so we ended up purchasing a second one for Legend shortly after his arrival!

Three years later, both tunnels still look as good as new – the materials have held up perfectly with no scratches or tears – and the cats still love to play hide and seek in them! You can currently find the leopard print tunnel – with free shipping – at CSN!

At least your cats can share your home! We tried introducing a second cat to ours and had to take him back! Now, 4 years later he is still ruler of the roost! haha!

P.S. I am a newbie blogger and am SO HAPPY that I found this blog with the FMBT blog hop! I follow you and would love if you could follow me back! Thanks!

Are you kidding!? The best prezzie I can give my bratcat is something that he's not supposed to play with, but is GREAT for getting Mama-san's (me) attention when she's otherwise occupied. In various cases it's been things like my pointy fabric hooks (dragged around the house and left inconspicuously in traffic areas with the sharp tines pointed upwards); pens that I will be needing in about 3.7 seconds and will then spend 2 minutes trying to fish it out from under the futon; the assorted barrettes, hair ties and once my jar of molding mud; jewelry; gutta bottles; and my roommate's plastic figurines. When I have spent money on the fuzzy butt, he might deign to be interested for a few moments before trundling off to tear more holes in my box spring.

Wow love the tunnel. We've just been Christmas Shopping in London for the weekend and whilst we were there I popped into Harrods and got a lovely new bed for Thomas & Erin, and a few new toys too. They'll be wrapped and put under the tree with all the other family presents – I hope they like them!!!

Adorable photos! Our cat is so shy, though, that she gets scared of holidays and won't play with any presents until after the excitement dies down! Happy iFellowship Wednesday!

  15. Marlene says:

Heck, those tunnels look like something I'd play in! Why not?!

We had two kitties but one of them has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge and we haven't been able to successfully introduce another… Ella is very happy to rule the roost! We always hang a stocking for Ella, particularly now we have a child as well, and we make a point of spending time with her on Christmas morning playing with her new toys – or wrapping paper and ribbon, which seems just as interesting to her. Our kitty is a valuable member of our family!

I have 3 grandkitties. I make sure they get a special treat from Santa too. When our last fur-baby Liberty was still with us, she wsa spoiled rotten w/toys & goodies. I had bought one of those U shaped self0cat groomers, and after playing with her in it, she would go there by herself & groom and let us know when she wanted us to come over & join in.

They're gorgeous fluffbutts! I'm pondering putting our bird in a stocking for our cats this year. No, I'm kidding, kinda. He's loud. And obnoxious and they SO want to eat him. But I digress, my cats are simpletons, their gifts come in the form of empty boxes and bags which will give them enjoyment until next year, unlike the toys we've purchased in the past which are forgotten in lieu of the box that was just emptied.

Stopping by from Weekend Wander, have a great weekend!
