Photo Of The Week: Kaleidoscope Kitty

Cozy Tsunami at Create With Joy
Quote Of The Week
Find your place in the sun.
Especially if it happens to be in
that nice pile of warm, clean laundry.

Anyone who loves cats knows that they have a penchant for making themselves at home in the coziest of places – by their standards, not ours.

This week, we found Tsunami surrounded by a kaleidoscope of color as he nestled in a pile of laundry.

We also found Legend curled on top of a large box of freshly delivered pizza that we had turned our backs on for all of 15 seconds (hot box – good smells – what more could a kitty want?) I laughed so hard as I watched Prince Charming extract our not-so-cooperative cat from his newly found perch, that I failed to capture the shot.

Speaking of food… did you hear that two of my recipes are finalists in Saturday Morning’s Best Of February 2011 Contest? I’d be SO grateful if you would stop by and VOTE for my Vanilla Pear Bread and my Mexican Corn Bread now through March 4th!

So pretty! That is too funny about the pizza. I know my cat sneaks up on the table to bask in the sun when we're not paying attention 🙂

I love cats! They're like walking decorations, prettying up whatever spot they choose to snooze on. 🙂

    Happy Wordless Wednesday to you!

Hehehehe! A kitty on a pizza box… now that must have been a site! Our kitties are usually found curled up in my kids beds. On the pillows and under the covers! Like it's their bed? Sigh…

    Take care!

Tsunami is so pretty! I gotta ask…was the laundry clean? 😉

Vanilla Pear Bread sounds delicious! I gotta go check it out!

My cat is a master of the art of comfort! She adores one of my son's blankets I knitted. Another son wanted the cat to sleep with him, so I had to make him a blanket with the same textured yarn! LOL

  17. Marie says:

What a sweet kitty! I couldn't put the laundry away the other day because I didn't want to disturb Giblet the Thanksgiving Kitten from his nap — can we say spoiled! 🙂

Just returned from a 2 week vacation, so my kitty's favorite spot is purring on my lap and sleeping on my head!!
Following from a blog hop…nice stuff!

  20. Melynda says:

(so far) our house cat does not do this, but you know as soon as he learns it is comfy, well the laundry will no longer be safe!
