Rubber Stamp Storage Ideas – Part 1

Is your craft room overflowing with oodles of rubber stamps that you just can’t get a handle on? Could you benefit from a pretty but portable storage solution to help get those unruly stamps under control?

Today I’d like to show you a few of the boxes I house my collection in. A peek inside will show you why they are so special!

First, the boxes contain a removable sectioned shelf that make sorting small to medium size stamps a breeze. The stamps in these boxes are categorized, although the order may appear random due to spacing issues.

Now, I’m sure you’re wondering – what lies underneath the top shelf?

More glorious storage space that is perfect for storing your larger stamps and accessories!

Finding an exact replicate of these boxes is challenging (trust me, I’ve tried!) However, you can find similar types of boxes in home decor stores, crafting stores, and sometimes even in the jewelry or cosmetic sections of department stores!

Question: Now that I’ve shared one of the ways I store my rubber stamps – how do you store yours? Feel free to leave a link in the comments if you have photos on your site for us to visit!

Have a wonderful What’s On Your Workspace Wednesday, dear friends!

What a pretty way to store. Mine are upright, indexes facing out, about 3 deep on a corner shelf unit, so they can talk to me when I look at them for inspiration. And because I'm too lazy to get a box out and find one!!

  25. Mrs A. says:

I'm afraid my meagre assortment of stamps are in a boring plastic see through box. Hugs Mrs A. #57

That box is beautiful! I store mine in CD cases. Great minds think alike, I also showed my stamp storage this week.
    Happy WOYWW

  31. MaggieC says:

Sadly, my collection of wooden stamps would not fill one layer of that beautiful box. Most of mine are unmounted, and just get filed in boring A4 box files.

  32. Michele's Scrapy Creations says:

love your pretty box! right now they are not stored in any as I'm figuring out how i want them to be –put away in boxes like yours or on open shelves like most do. thanks for sharing.

What a fabulous collection of stamps you have!

  36. Terri Morse says:

Oh my, your beautiful kitty steals the show! I adore cats and your beauty makes me want to hug him! Your boxes are a pretty way to keep all those rubber stamps from taking over. When I had my huge collection of wooden stamps, my hubby made me these wonderful shelves-they were only one and a half inches wide-just enough to set my stamps on. The covered an entire wall in my studio. These days, I mostly use clear stamps-they're easier to store. I have a pink file box with dividers that fit tons of stamps. Have a great weekend. Terri

  37. Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoriti says:

This is a pretty way to store rubber stamps and art supplies. I also love cat atamps :0) I have a few plastic multi drawer carts on wheels where I store mine. The larger drawers on the bottom of the carts hold paper and other supplies. I wheel them out of my closet when I want to play with the stamps, and then wheel them back in out of sight when I'm done.
It was nice to find your blog through Pink Saturday!

  38. Maison Mutt says:

Clever! I have mine in a plastic box…looks like that will be changing soon! Happy PS!

  39. Char says:

I used similiar type boxes for my photos, CD's and such, so by the time I get to the rubber stamps I have left, I simply put them in clear plastic boxes. Love your boxes. Happy PS
