Create With Joy is now on WordPress!
We completed our migration yesterday, June 20th, 2011, and I’m thrilled to report it was a huge success! Nitun, our migration specialist, successfully moved close to 400 posts, 9500 comments, and all of my photos to our new hosting company. He also successfully transferred all of my Google Friend Connect Followers, and all of my Feedburner RSS and e-mail subscribers.
In the upcoming days, I will share more details about the process and address your burning questions. In the meantime, I appreciate your patience as I explore my new home, familiarize myself with its new functionality, and test and tweak the site and settings so that everything works the way I want it too!

If you find anything is not working the way it should – or you have any questions you would like me to address – please, let me know!

How exciting for you! I am sure you are thrilled. May I ask why the change as I still am learning so much and am wondering if this si something I need to think about in the future. Moving from blogger to wordpress.

Congrats! I tried to move to wordpress but alas, I had no luck and gave up. I love the semi-no look of the site too!
Woof! Woof! Golden Congrats. It was a smooth transition … We can’t wait for you to share your experience. It seems that not only you have a new hosting site but also you purchased a design platform. What’s so neat from other bloggers that transition to wordpress is that we can see your new wordpress blog post on blogger reading list (I guess this is one difference having a design platform such as Catalyst). I love the new look! I am in the works of researching and getting ready to make the switch to WP myself. Can’t wait to read all your info in the next few posts. I would love to read any advice you have since I am a bit apprehensive about doing it.
