Have you ever had one of those days when you feel so good, you’re ready to take on the world? You’re dolled up in your prettiest dress. You’re bursting with confidence. You’re smiling and waving at everyone you meet. You feel so good, you feel like Miss America!
That’s the feeling the Oh What A Doll line of stamps from Amber Ink engenders. Pull out these dolls whenever you need a burst of happiness!
The Oh What A Doll line consists of three sets of clear stamps and several sets of digital stamps so you can play with them in the format you prefer. Since carrying the Pink Torch makes me feel like Miss America, I decided to use the Wave Hello and A Day At The Beach sets from that line for my first project!
Now, I don’t own any fancy schmancy software – I’m the Paper Princess, not the Photoshop Queen – so I copied and printed my images from Microsoft Word (Digi Divas, it’s not polite to snicker!) While it initially felt odd not stamping out my images, that feeling quickly passed when I realized that with the press of a key, I had an unlimited number of perfectly formed images to play with! No mess to clean up either. I could get used to this life!
Next I had fun piecing together the girliest doll I could imagine! I draped her in pink from head to toe. I adorned her feet with the cutest of sandals. I covered her with flowers (oh, the things one can do with a lei!) This gal is dreaming of pageantry, for sure!
A doll this precious deserves a special home – that’s why I altered a torso just for her! But a gal like this is way too social to stay in one place for very long, so I decided she should see the world on the prettiest of cards!
I picked the most scrumptious colors I could find for the card base, and added pink waves and flourishes to echo the design element in the Wave Hello sentiment. I added flowers to complement the lei!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on my first Amber Ink Project! I’m premiering it on WOYWW since Penni passed the torch on to me this morning – and hostess Julia is a former Pink Torch Bearer too! I”ll also be sharing it at Pink Saturday. You can read more about the passing of the torches and meet the other Think Tank members at Going Pink With Amber Ink!

This is what we’re talking about! This is what creating with joy is all about! Love the way you dressed her with special attention to the lei (a gesture of friendship and love) and no wonder you dressed a pageant winner! You are one! Great job on your first Amber Ink project and we can hardly wait for the next! Go Pink!

Sweet card! Exuberant indeed!
This card is fabulous!!
Awesome hun. Loving the post and not just the card. I myself prefer the messiness of proper stamps but you have to give the digis a go sometimes especially as you can make them pretty much whatever size you want 🙂

What a beautiful card!! I actually like the idea of being able to print off an image. 🙂
