WOYWW: The Enchanted Girly Hammer

 Legend-July-2011-Create-With-Joy

Happy WOYWW to you, dear friends! It’s time for Legend, journalist extraordinaire, to bring you another scoop from inside The Paper Palace!

How many of you prefer pretty to practical when it comes to collecting tools? Have you ever been teased because your tools lack testosterone? Well, pretty can be practical, and appearances can be deceiving, as Mom says. If you are the Queen of Impractical, hold your head high – I am going to show you just how valuable your girly tools can be!

Imagine you live in the land of triple digit days. Maidens throughout the kingdom are swooning from the heat. Even the fairest maiden of them all – The Paper Princess – is about to succumb on this doggiest of days. She is advised to retreat to her palace to try to stay cool.

But wait! The moment our dear Princess steps into the palace, a dark enchantment falls over the kingdom. The Princess senses a trap but it is too late. She tries to escape but the door will not open. The Princess is locked inside the palace, where the walls suddenly feel like they are closing in. She is without food or water. She is TRAPPED.

She cries for help but only hears evil laugher outside the door. The Dark Prince takes great delight in her plight. Eventually, however, her cries reach Prince Charming, who does his best to rescue his princess. All of the king’s horses and all the king’s men, however, are no match for the castle door.

Then – as if awakening from a dream – the Princess transforms into a Bond Girl! She remembers she is the proud owner of the Enchanted Girly Hammer – a weapon to be wielded at such a time as this. She picks it up and in a way that only a woman can, unleashes its secret powers. Soon she wields the weapons of fate in her hands. She works magic on the screws and, with the help of Prince Charming on the other side, mounts a daring escape from her would-be captors!
