A Blogger You Have Met –

As you can imagine,
This is a particularly challenging question for me to tackle
Since I’m privileged to connect with you all!
But, here are a few friends I’d like to introduce you to this week!

The Newest Friend I’ve Met Through Friendship Friday
Costin Comba

Sometimes friendships take you to the most unexpected places.

Last week, I met Romanian photographer Costin Comba
Through Friendship Friday
And was immediately swept away by his beautiful images!

If artistic excellence in photography makes your heart soar,
Be sure to visit Costin!
His photos are worth the journey!

A Friend I Recently Re-Connected With Through Friendship Friday
Calej d’Art

I love artists who have a heart for God –
And Christina is one of my favorites!
She comes from a family of Philipina artists and bloggers,
Each with their unique talents and vision!

Last week, her post
The Woman I Want To Be
Brought back childhood memories long forgotten.

If you have not met Christina,
Be sure to visit her this week!

A Friend I’ve Gotten To Know Better Through Friendship Friday
A Gracious Home

Doylene at A Gracious Home

This choice is, of course, the hardest one
Because I have truly deepened my friendships
With those who takes the time to answer the weekly questions.

Each week, however, there always seems to be one or two posts
That really speak to my heart
And this week, that post was Doylene’s.

As most of us shared our career ambitions –
Doylene shared that she always dreamed of
Being a wife and mother –
And through words and photographs,
She truly conveyed how she has been blessed
By remaining true to her childhood dreams and visions.

  Friendship Friday #10 – Weekend Of March 16, 2012

Friendship Friday at Create With Joy

Welcome to Friendship Friday – a weekend blog hop that’s designed to help you:

  • Foster friendships with other bloggers!
  • Share what’s unique about yourself and your blog!
  • Grow your blog and social media networks!

Are you ready to make some new friends? Then, come join the fun! Please follow these friendly guidelines:

1) Each week, I’ll post a question that’s designed to help you get to know one another a little better. To participate, simply create a Friendship Friday post that includes the Friendship Friday blog hop button and/or a link back to this post – then add your permalink to the party!

You can also participate by adding the Friendship Friday button to your sidebar and answering the Question of the Week in the comments – but I recommend completing Step 1 so that visitors from this blog hop can get to know you, and can more easily interact with you!

2) If you haven’t already done so, please connect with Create With Joy by:

3) Leave a sweet comment so I’ll know you stopped by! Your suggestions for upcoming questions of the week are welcome too!

4) Visit your fellow participants and get to know them – building friendships is what this blog hop is about! Support the bloggers you connect with by leaving a comment and following their blogs through one of the available subscription methods on their blogs!

This blog hop will be open all weekend so that you have plenty of time to post, link and mingle! Have fun making friends and be sure to join me next week for Inspire Me Monday and Wordless Wednesday!

That would definitely be you, Ramona! I’m so glad I stumbled upon Friendship Friday because I absolutely love its concept and get to come across some great blogs that I wouldn’t normally check out. Thanks for being a great host and inviting us to your space each week to help connect with and motivate one another.

Thank you so much Michelle – you are definitely one of the gems I look forward to connecting with each week at Friendship Friday! Thanks so much for all of your support and for being a part of this wonderful community of friends! 🙂

  2. Happy (almost ) Friday. Stopping in from Alexa Hop. (MOmmy of One and Counting)

  3. What a neat thing to participate in honey. I need to find out more about it.
I have to check out these new friends of your too.
Wanted to come by and say hello. I have not been myself lately dealing with a
sickness that I just found out about that my son Clint has been diagnosed with.
I haven’t talked too much about it on my site because he reads my blog.
But I do miss coming by here.
    Hope you are well.

I have met Sandie, aka “Chatty Crone.” Sandra has a lot of friends so that means I probably won’t become a ‘special friend.’ Her posts contain a lot of items that get passed around the Internet but she usually just does the friendly kind.

Many of my present ‘friends’ have moved to FaceBook or stopped blogging. That means I, and all bloggers, to keep a readership and steady friends should keep on meeting a few new friends periodically and cultivating a friendship via commenting.
BTW, you Mr. Linky link on ‘two-question-Thursday’ goes back to the two-question blog instead of yours. Put in a corrected on saying that this is the right one now and you will be fine.

      Hi Jim

I’m so glad you’ve decided to join us for Friendship Friday and I hope you make a lot of new friends here! It is really sad when someone you love to visit stops blogging but as you know, it really is challenging over time to keep up with it all so it’s sad and bittersweet yet understandable when they move on.

At the same time, I find it really exciting when I meet new bloggers who are starting out with fresh new energy and voices as well as more established but new-to-me bloggers that I discover and fall in love with! That’s the exciting part of blogging – no matter how many people you meet, there is always a new friend to meet on the other side of that proverbial door!

Have a great weekend and thanks for letting me know about my boo boo on Amanda’s blog! 🙂

  5. Evelyn says:

Just found your blog hop, sorry I wasn’t prepared for it this week. But am looking forward to being a better participant next Friday:) I did add my button and am visiting your other participants and thank you for hosting.

  12. Jenn says:

I’ve met a new friend, Diane and she and I get along like a house on fire! I’ve only known her like a month but I’d sure miss her if she went away. I also met Ellen and we have more in common than is really normal, lol. Both new and wonderful friends live far away from me but I consider them freinds just like my close ones that I can touch. The internet doesn’t separate us if we don’t let it.

Stopped by to tell you that the Artist’s Play Room is now LIVE, since you’d been kind and signed up to participate!
See you in the back room!

A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.
