WOYWW – You Are My Sunshine

You Are My Sunshine Card at Create With Joy

Wow. Can you believe that another week has come and gone and it’s time to share What’s On My Workspace again?

Time for another card! This week I’ve done Spring with a slightly masculine twist! Instead of playing with the pastels, I’ve combined a few bright blues with some more macho shades of browns, greens, and marigolds to create a card that is male-worthy! The theme “You Are My Sunshine” is appropriately gender-neutral. The hinge adds another testosterone touch!

Sweet Tsunami is flirting with his admirers over at Wordless Wednesday if you’d like to pay homage!

Inspire Me Monday is open all week if you’d like to share your creative talents with the world!

Have a fabulous WOYWW and if you’d like a Creative Challenge, be sure to visit the blogs below!

  14. The “testosterone touch” comment made me giggle. It is an appropriately macho spring card though. I’m not a fan of pastels, be it spring or not, so I really like this card! Happy WOYWW!

Thanks Judy! I’m very girly so going masculine is always a stretch for me! As you can see, even my macho cards still have a feminine touch (maybe if a guy SEES flowers, they’ll BRING flowers!) lol

      Have an awesome week! 🙂

In the meantime, thats a fine card you have there – love the colours… blue is my favourite colour and I prefer the muted blues that go with the browns and creams.

  22. Eleni Poulakou says:

Very, very nice card — yet, to go a little against the flow (and this is just my taste, of course!), I don’t really see it as very masculine… I mean, the colors seem fine, but the little flowers… well, I wouldn’t give it to male friends, anyway. On the other hand, I know some girl friends who would just love it!

I am smiling at your comments, Eleni – this is not the first time I have incorporated flowers into my masculine cards – truly, there is only so much macho this girly girl can handle in her crafty projects (lol!)
