Here’s What’s Inspiring Me…

Tonya Ferguson – To Remember Love

To Remember Love - Tonya Ferguson

Have you ever lost someone you loved?
Have you ever watched someone that you love suffer?
Have you ever lived in such a cloud
You wondered if the sun would ever shine again?
Singer, song-writer and author Tonya Ferguson has.

In her incredibly moving memoir, To Remember Love,
Tonya shares her journey through grief as she
Deals with the sudden loss of her dad to a heart attack
And the lingering loss of her mother to Alzheimers.

Her story is powerful.
As one who has grieved, I can attest that
Reading her book helped me move through my own losses.

Please take a moment to read my review
And share this book with those who need
A little sunshine in our lives!

Article: So You Think You Can’t Draw

Peggy Apl Seeds - Always Wear Your Invisible Crown

In March 1986, Whitney Houston released
One of her greatest hits of all time,
The Greatest Love Of All.

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier…

This week, I’d like to congratulate two very special 2012 graduates
Who represent our hopes and dreams for tomorrow…
And acknowledge their very proud moms.
Ladies, always wear your invisible crowns!

Congratulations to:

Peggy App Seed’s daughter, who just received her
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication, Magna cum Laude.
When she began her program, she didn’t think she could draw!
You can read her inspiring story here.

Michelle Weaver, daughter of author Nicole Weaver,

Who graduated from Pepperdine University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Television Production!
During her Freshman Year, she co-founded Women Of Color,
A campus group which unites women from all backgrounds
And raises funds for worthy causes!

Thank you for sharing the book “To Remember Love”, I need to read it. My mother has Alzheimers and I so need help to move through this. I have finally learned sharing is a path to healing and my blogging about my mother has helped. I have another post I have not posted yet, I still cry when I read it but I need to share and let it go. So I am definitely getting this book. Thanks for sharing your inspirations and allowing us to post our creations each week.

  21. What Inspires Me?

I am constantly Inspired by people reaching out to other people. THAT is what “Create With Joy” does on this WONDERFULLY BLESSED website, and THAT is what I have chosen to do by writing my book, “to remember love.” THAT is why God has brought the 2 of us together.

In the middle of my 13 year storm, the only raindrops I tried to focus on were the Blessings that God was raining down on me. He is EVER FAITHFUL!

I now know I wrote my book and I am here to carefully hold the aching hearts of others until they are able to beat with Joy once again. I always welcome new friends to contact me on my website. God Bless You!

    Philippians 4:13,
    Tonya Ferguson
