Question Of The Week
What’s the best vacation you’ve ever had?
What’s your dream vacation?
Vacation or Staycation – share your summer plans!
You are cordially invited to
Join our Friendship Friday chat about Vacations this week
And make some new friends in the process!
My Answer – Vacation
I’ve had too many wonderful vacations to pick just one
But I love tropical islands and the ocean
So I count any destination that combines these elements
Among my favorites!
My dream vacation?
Send me to Tahiti!
Or to the Galapagos.
Or on an African Safari.
I am a wildlife buff too!
Vacation or Staycation?
As much as I’d love to take a Vacation right now
I am currently part of the ever-growing Staycation trend!
Now it’s your turn to share your thoughts!
Please see the guidelines at the end of the post!

My favorite vacation was sort of a “Living Vacation”. It was the time I lived in Wyoming. For 10 years I enjoyed that state and never once felt the need to vacation elsewhere. Summer and winter paradise. Now, however, I love the island of Roatan Honduras. Scuba and beach is divine. Terah

How glorious to live in paradise! You are so blessed! 🙂
While living in the USA for the last 3 years, my favorite place that we visited was Savannah, GA! What a beautiful city! Loved loved loved it.

Awesome! There are some islands off the coast of Georgia that are simply gorgeous too (of course their names escape me at the moment) but they are near Brunswick – the next time you are there, look them up – you will LOVE them! 🙂

My best vacation was a trip to Egypt I did many years ago.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Oh what a marvelous trip that must have been! Did you see the pyramids (how could you not?!) Thanks for dropping by this weekend – your butterfly was stunning! 🙂
Always magical going to Walt Disney World. Dream trip would be to Australia one day. Staycation and/or some mini-weekend road trips.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Yes, a trip “down under” would rock! And who can resist the magic of Disney (certainly NOT me!) Have a great weekend (and I can’t wait to hear about some of your mini vacations this summer!)
The best vacation was at an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana (Caribbean) not once, but twice! 🙂 My dream vacation would be to take a whole month and tour the wine country in Italy. 🙂
Viva Las Vegas… or The Biggest Little City in the World – Reno?
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Oh Stacy, both sound glorious! A month in Italy? DIVINE!
We are currently on vacations in Korea. Am planning for my next vacation.. should be somewhere in Asia also.. Staycations are nice too and we too may have them in the later part of this year.
We love being friends with you. You’ve dedicated everything you do to connecting others and it’s always inspiring to us.
Happy seeing beautiful!

Good morning and Happy Friday! I’ll write about it next week on my blog! Talk again soon – BIG Hugs, Nina
I just hooked up with a story from last summer about going crabbing with my daughter and her Hubby. Great idea! Following you everywhere! Donna

Our greatest vacation was a cruise around the Galapagos Islands. Far from supporting Darwin’s theory of evolution, the amazing diversity of wildlife there (all tame!) attests to God’s creativity and amazing design!
Thanks for hosting the link-up!
God bless,

Have a blessed weekend Laurie! 🙂
Be a friend and take a vacation from your blog and come to mine and pick up your award, please. I agree with those who said how much they like your blog. It is something you can be proud of.
Hmm the best vacation I’ve ever had was the one to Hawaii. I had the kiddies, but despite some little issues it was the best one.
My dream vacation. Girlfriend trip to Italy for two weeks!
Summer plans is staycation – I’ve found a few free things for the kids for June, but it’s home fun all the way right now. Budget is low but life goes on.
Have a joyful weekend

Ahh, vacation! We will be going to the beach this summer (actually 2 different beaches!) and I can’t wait. Give me an ocean breeze, the gentle rhythmic advance and retreat of the waves, and the sun any day of the week and twice on Sunday for the perfect vacation experience. Thanks for sharing and for linking up with NOBH! Smiles!

My husband and I were lucky when our kids were international competitive skaters. Even though we couldn’t afford to attend every international competition, we had some amazing trips anyway. I think our favorite was for the 2010 Worlds in Turin, Italy (where our daughter was competing in ice dance). The food in Italy was as good as they say it is! 🙂
