Question Of The Week
If you are in the United States:
How will you celebrate this Thanksgiving?
What are your favorite family Thanksgiving traditions?
Do you have any special recipes or crafts to share?
If you are outside of the United States:
Does your country have a Thanksgiving celebration?
If so, when is it and how do you celebrate it?
If not, what is the closest holiday to Thanksgiving that you celebrate?
Let’s share our Thanksgiving traditions with one another

I love Thanksgiving! I am looking forward to it and we are actually kicking off The night before Thanksgiving with (believe it or not) our annual tradition of live theater showing of A Christmas Carol. My mom sends us every year and I felt blessed to start off the night before thanksgiving with this play! For me the prep for Christmas begins in November – thankfulness precedes the blessing of receiving the Savior! And then onto New Years! It really is my favorite time a I consider the past year (this month) and seek God about the coming New Year…while all draw closer to the SPirit of Chistmas…our Christ! Rich with opportunity is this season!- straight though! Give our love to Legend and Tsunami! Happy Friday (almost!)

What a wonderful traditon Dawn! I too view Thanksgiving as the beginning of the Christmas season (even though, of course, it is also it’s own holiday and its own season in its own right!)
Have a wonderful weekend and give a hug to you beautiful girls! 🙂

Thanks so much for hosting! We will be having Thanksgiving dinner next week. I am so very grateful for my family and for our safety amidst so much destruction from the hurricane. I am thankful for my husband’s 24+ year career in the military and the sacrifices he has made so our nation can be free to celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving.

I am grateful for everything. I never think I am too good for anything. Just had a talk with someone about it yesterday ;-). I think I am special in that I don’t dismiss anyone. I talk to everyone llike they are my equal, so there are many people who still will call me after years just to say Hi. I am grateful for those friendships that are very special.

Happy Sharefest. I hopped over, read your blog and enjoyed it a lot. I’ve never done this type of blog, yet. Soon, I hope to start. Thanks for the good links. Today I’m sharing which is about writing and editing.
Thank you for hosting. Although I never travel because all our family lives in the same town, I know many people who travel for Thanksgiving. I posted a tip on Traveling Medicines:
