Today’s photo is dedicated to Michelle,
Hostess of Cat Thursday, who recently asked if
Tsunami and Legend get along because I usually
Feature them separately on Wordless Wednesday.
The answer is yes, they are the best of buddies,
But they are rarely seen photographed together because
They are so huge, it’s hard to photograph them
In the same place at the same time!
Both cats like lying and stretching out on “stuff”, and
It’s hard for them to find clear stretches of furniture that
Comfortably accommodate them both!
When they do – by the time I get the camera and
Try to get the right shot – usually one of them has
Decided to be uncooperative and wander away!
(Most of the time, it’s Legend, as they never seem to
Be in a spot where I can take a shot without a flash,
Which he detests!)
Here is a rare photo I have of them sleeping together.

Great shot and so sweet! I’m glad they get along. My two kittens also like to snuggle. The youngest one is going in tomorrow to get spade. We’ll have to keep dinner away from both of them. Please pray for our kitties as this will not be a pleasant time for them, and for the little one tomorrow. She’s 6 months old, but she’s still small in stature.
I hope everything goes well! I”m sure they will be up and about in no time!

We have some, like sisters Giulietta and Fiona, who must sleep together and others who would rather die first. The best way to get several of us in one photo is when we are eating. Just how big are Legend and Tsunami? Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
It’s been awhile – probably over a year – since we’ve weighed them. The last time I think Legend was hovering around 20 pounds and Tsunami was around 23 pounds. Just last night my husband was commenting on how Tsunami is looking even bigger to him (either his coat is fluffy from his daily brushings – or all of that chicken my hubby feeds him is showing up!) Tsunami is LONG too – he doesn’t like for me to hold him (only my very tall husband) because he feels scrunched up in my “little” arms!

Thanks for asking that Michelle, I’m sure we have all wondered that at one stage. They are both gorgeous kitties, though.
I’ll have to get an update on their weights when I can. It is hard though. They are too big for me to hold and they really fight you on the scale!

I know the “big” issue. A cat bed bearly accomodates one of my boys, but thankfully they like to sleep together on the sofa or a bed so I can get pictures of them together. It is wonderful how the little boys get along. My experience is that two females, unless they are siblings, don’t tend to tolerate each other. I am sure there are exceptions … but love those big boys.

They prefer sleeping with us humans – but when we’re not available for cat naps – each other will do! 🙂
