Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
Quote Of The Day
Nothing is so difficult as to paint the cat’s face,
Which as Moncrif justly observes bears a
Character of “finesse and hilarity.”
The lines are so delicate, the eyes so strange,
The movements subject to such sudden impulses,
That one should be feline oneself to portray such a subject.
Champfleury (Jules Husson), 1821-1889
I came across today’s photo of Tsunami
While cleaning out my picture files.
Isn’t he a beauty?
This gorgeous shot of Tsunami was taken on
Day 7 of his arrival in our home!
I’ll be sharing more about Tsunami –
Including how he got his name –
In the weeks to come.
For those who have asked,
Both Tsunami and Legend are purebred Maine Coons.
I’ll share more about the breed in upcoming posts as well!

Maine Coons are a fairly large in size breed, right?
Yes – Maine Coons are a natural American breed that are known for their large size, their beautiful looks and their awesome personalities! 🙂

Gorgeous picture. I just love the angle
I love Maine Coons and that one is a beauty! Thank for hosting.
So cute.
Beautiful cat, but I know all that fur would make me sneeze–highly allergic to cat hair.

I live on allergy meds – but I LOVE my cats! 🙂
Beautiful! x
Beautiful photo!
Fluffy and beautiful!
Beautiful cats!!!
Thanks!
Full of expression, finesse is a great way to describe the way our furry balls of love move through the world. Adorable picture. Tsunami certainly has beautiful highlights in his fur.
Another lovely shot 🙂
Too cute.
Tsunami is a beautiful cat. Thanks for hosting and Happy WW!
You too Judy!
I’d love to learn more about their breed. Sounds interesting.
Look forward to sharing! There’s also a few other Maine buddies who also grace the list with their royal appearances from time to time – watch for them! (They come from multi-cat households so it’s always a treat to see them!)
I had two kitties that were bro and sis. They lived to be 18 and 16. They were so cool. I could do an entire blog on them if I wanted to. hahahaha. Your kitty looks like my female that lived to be 16.
I pray my cats are long lived like yours!
If I had been blogging when I got these they probably would have their own blogs!
Maybe next time round…
So fluffy and adorable!
I’ll be sure to be back to find out how your kitty got his name. Now I’m curious! hehehe Thanks for the linky. You’re invited to sign up to mine also.
Oh such beautiful fur!

Thanks Molly!
Fluffy kitty!! Love it 🙂
What a sweetie!
I had a feeling your lovelies were Maine Coons. We visited a country store in WV several years ago and the owner’s cat, also a Coon, sat on a bar stool and watched the customers! I fell in love with him! His gentle spirit and affection won me over.
You’ve just described Maine Coons to a tee! Have a wonderful WW Carrie!
Beautiful! We have two Maine Coons, too — love ’em. 🙂
How cool Lauren! You have to share photos of your Coons at one of the upcoming WW parties!
truly a masterpiece!
