WOYWW – Storage For The Tiniest Of Ink Pads

Mini Ink Pad Storage Tin - 1
Happy WOYWW, dear friends! For the past few weeks, we’ve been discussing Ink Pad Storage at Create With Joy. I shared my ideas for flexible, inexpensive alternatives to those fancy, custom cabinets you can have designed for specific lines of inks. And, during the course of discussion, a few of you wondered:

What do I do with my itsy bitsy ink pads?

So this week, I’m sharing the little plastic box that I’ve been storing my tiniest of ink pads in for years! The rows are the perfect size for holding a variety of shapes, including cat’s eyes, dew drops, and mini-cubes! You can fit two stacks of your mini ink pads in the boxes. The little handle on the end makes it easy to retrieve the box from my shelf!

One of the things I like about this storage solution is that it’s portable. I like being able to take my box of tiny distress inks with me wherever I go. I also like the fact that the inks are fairly easy to sort within the box – it’s much easier than digging through drawers to find the ink you are looking for!

Since I have several plastic boxes containing several different types of craft items in The Creative Corner, it’s also nice that I can see what’s stored inside without opening the box! The compact storage also keeps the lids on the ink pads so that they don’t fall off and dry out!

What other solutions have you found for storing your mini ink pads? Trust me, inquiring minds want to know!

For those of you who are counting down the days to the holidays – keep an eye on my sidebar! I am hosting some fabulous giveaways now and in the upcoming months, and I’d love for you to win something fabulous for yourself, your family, and your friends!

Beautiful Tsunami

Over at Wordless Wednesday, Tsunami’s not shy. He invites you to stop by to “Bask In His Glory” – and to learn a little more about Maine Coons!

Have a fabulous week – I look forward to seeing what’s on your workdesk this week!

I only have 4 mini ink pads so I don’t have any problem with storage. Mainly I use paints for my rubber stamps. My paints are the one that needs some storage solutions. It is overflowing! :^) thanks for all the giveaways! patsy

How do you store them? I had mine in a plastic bin and had planned on transferring them to wall storage in my new home, but sadly, I think most of them have dried up!

What a great storage idea. My ink pads are scattered about under my acrylic paints in a big basket. However, I am getting organized, finally…baby steps!!! Main Coons are gorgeous! Rasz #120

    Hi Joy!
How clever! I hadn’t even thought about my Cat Eyes as I only have 4 or 5 (but intend to add to them hehe). I do have all of the Stampin Up Spots. I store all of my current ones in a shallow sterilite tub. The box takes up one 1/2 of the tub, my water color crayon tin stores underneath of the box. The other half of the box is divided off with foam core board to store the matching re-inkers.

I’ll be showing my storage off during my organization class in January and I’d love to link to this post.

    Creative Blessings! Kelly #107
