NIV Pink Bible: An Invitation To Hope – Book Review
Today I’d like to introduce you to one of the loveliest gift Bibles I’ve seen this year – Zondervan’s NIV Pink Bible: An Invitation To Hope. This beautiful Bible will be cherished by any woman whose life has been touched by breast cancer – but honestly, it’s so full of encouragement, any woman would be happy to own one!
The NIV Pink Bible comes in an open-ended display box – but inside, you’ll find a light-weight, Italian duo-tone leather Bible in coordinating shades of pink. The pages are designed to lay flat when you open the book – a nice convenience. The print is standard size, meaning that the print is small for those who prefer a larger font, but the overall size and Bible weight is a plus – the Bible is lighter than most and can comfortably be held in one hand. The words of Jesus are printed in red ink for those of you who like this as an option. There is also a coordinating pink ribbon for you to mark your place.
Here are some additional features you’ll find in the NIV Pink Bible:
- Beautiful Presentation Page
- Complete NIV Text
- An Index to Hundreds of Verses of Hope and Encouragement
- 9 Beautifully Designed Pages of Prayers, Reflection and Hope
- A 90-Day and a 3-Year Bible Reading Plan
- An Overview of the Books of the Bible
If you or a loved one is battling breast cancer, I can think of no greater source of encouragement than God’s Word. The NIV Pink Bible will offer you all of the spiritual sustenance you need to carry you through a difficult time – and it will do so in an uplifting and stylish format!

What a lovely bible! Indeed, there is no greater source of encouragement than God’s Word. We are relying on His promises for healing for my mom.

Beautiful, beautiful book – visually and content-wise! Normally I wouldn’t have given it much more than a passing glance (I’m a KJV kinda gal). But I’m so glad I stopped in to check out your review. Next time I buy me a Bible, I think this will be it!

I’m so glad you had a chance to check this out LuAnn – this would make a beautiful companion Bible to go with your KJV! One of the things I really like about this Bible is the index of verses in the back – unlike a more general concordance, the verses here are geared towards verses of encouragement and hope. You could use references like this and the Bible reading plans with any Bible – but you will really appreciate how lovely this one is!
Stopping by from Word Filled Wed. I love this idea. My family has been touched by breast cancer and has survived. Thank God! I do, every day. So wonderful of you to advertise this.

The NIV pink bible caught my eye right away! I do appreciate the review… I’m not sure the print is big enough for me though… this is why I’ve been using the YOuVersion on my phone.
I also liked how you said it could be held in one hand. Good to point out. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend,
Jillian

Jillian, I know what you mean! I love the light weight of this Bible after dragging huge study Bibles around for years –
And I love the beautiful devotionals and the “pinkness” of it all – but if tiny Bible print makes you squint, you will definitely need to pull out your reading glasses for this one!
But – if the print isn’t an issue – this is a beautiful Bible to own!
That is beautiful bible….we love that pink
Have a lovely week-end..and I ask God to bless you!
Oh how lovely – I love sharing the awesome Word of God with others, and picking out just the right Bible for each person. Thanks for sharing about another grand option.
