Happy WOYWW, dear friends! Today I have a simple question to ask. When was the last time you discovered buried treasure in your home?
I’m not talking about gold doubloons or winning lotto tickets. I’m talking about something that is valuable because it has personal meaning to you?
Today I was poking around my treasure boxes – you know, the kind that you stick stuff in and forget about – and I discovered a treasure from years past! Back in 2001, I had the pleasure of meeting Stampscapes creator Kevin Nakagawa at a stamping convention. To my amazement, he created magic before my very eyes by designing a custom card for me! (I chose the stamps and told him the colors I liked – Kevin did the rest!)
To this day, I have never seen such stamping artistry at work!
Anyway, I could not resist sharing this beautiful stamped art with you. If you’ve never heard of them before, and you’d like to know how their stamps work, visit the resource-intense Stampscapes website!
Now, have you ever wondered how the calm and stately Tsunami got his name? If so, stop by today’s Wordless Wednesday for a glimpse at my little “Mischief Maker”!
And, before you leave, be sure to enter some of the fabulous giveaways (including a $50 Novica Gift Code Giveaway) on my sidebar!
Have a great week! Hope to see you at Inspire Me Monday and Friendship Friday!

I’ve never met Kevin, but I’ve met some of his minions trained by him to create that same magic before your eyes. It certainly is impressive. I have a slew of Stampscapes stamps myself. I waffle on if I should get rid of them or not. I don’t use them very often and when I do I don’t do them justice like this.

I cherish ALL my treasures and think of those who gave them to me each time I point them out to someone. They are irreplacable!….:)JP

OMG, how cool would it be to have such a wonderful piece of art in your possession you are so lucky, and I have never found a treasure, lost penny or otherwise, in any of my homes..hugs. Avril#60
Beautiful card!
I do know about finding hidden treasures…….. and not just in the CraftRoom!!! They seem so much more valuable the longer the time they are hidden.
