WOYWW – Treasure Life Card

Treasure Life Card

Happy WOYWW to you dear friends! I hope you’re having a fabulous week. I am still battling the bug that won’t let go, but I do have a new card to share with you – Treasure Life.

This sentiment really speaks to my heart because I’ve been touched by so much loss over the years. You can use this sentiment inside or out, for any occasion! You can use it for a birthday card or a get well card. You can use it to spread awareness of causes such as National Suicide Prevention Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can use it to speak encouragement to someone in need of a pick-me-up.

The sentiment is from Close To My Heart’s Angel Whispers Stamp Set, D1264.

Because of the causes I mentioned above, I designed the card with pink and bling to symbolize women and flowers to symbolize life. The gorgeous paper is from Wholeport.

Tsunami - One Calm Cat

As the weather changes, Tsunami is spending more and more time under the covers. I shared a majestic shot of him at today’s Wordless Wednesday Party! I also shared tips on How To Care For Your Aging Cat this week. Do you know that my once spry kitten is now considered middle-aged?

Chicken Soup For The Soul - From Lemons To Lemonade

I’m also hosting a new Chicken Soup For The Soul Giveaway this month – stop by for your chance to win 1 of 3 copies of From Lemons To Lemonade, a book filled with 101 inspiring stories of ordinary people who overcame adversity!

What’s on your desk this week! Time to hop! Have an awesome week and I look forward to seeing you on the WOYWW trail!

LOL, you are so funny Faythe! He is virtually diving under the covers with me these days!

I’m so glad you liked my card! Yes, the base of the card is 4 x 6 cardstock. the edges are distressed in pink (but it looks like I accidentally overcropped the top of the card in the photo – there is actually a white border at the top). This is the 4th in a series of “pretty” cards I’ve been making highlighting some gorgeous Origami paper!

what a really pretty card I think cherry blossom is just the prettiest thing to see on the trees and as you say this card could be used for so many different occasions. Sheena Douglas has just brought out an oriental set with cherry blossom embossing folders and stamps if you have not seen them.
