Welcome to Friendship Friday!
Friendship Friday at Create With Joy is a week-long event where you can:
- Share what’s unique about you and your blog!
- Foster friendships with other bloggers!
- Expand your social media networks!
You are welcome to share your favorite posts, past or present – but we’d love it if you participated in our Friendship Friday prompts by either writing a dedicated Friendship Friday post and/or sharing your responses in the comments!
We’d do the Happy Dance if you spread the word about Friendship Friday by adding our beautiful blog button to your posts/blog and spread the word on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!
And a blog or social media follow on BlogLovin, Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter or Pinterest might make us swoon!
This Month’s Theme – A Season To Celebrate
Happy Friendship Friday, dear friends! Have you decked your halls with boughs of holly? Is your household filled with Christmas cheer?
This week, we are continuing with our month-long theme – A Season To Celebrate. You are invited to share any and all posts with a holiday theme! Share your favorite holiday recipes, books, and crafts. Show us your favorite decorating ideas! Take us on a tour of your beautifully decorated homes. Delight us with your favorite holiday songs and your favorite seasonal posts. If you have a great giveaway to help us spread some seasonal cheer – well, let us know about that as well!
In addition, we’d like to invite you to share your answer to the following questions in the comments:
Have you mailed out all of your Christmas cards?
Do you buy them – make them – or a combination of both?
Enjoy your week and be sure to enter our holiday giveaways for a bit of ongoing cheer!

I am pretty much behind with mailing, but I am trying to catch up, so far I was busy with decorating. I don’t buy ready made cards, I make them 🙂

I sometimes make cards, but I usually don’t have enough time, so I send out more store-bought ones than hand-made ones. I’ve sent out all my overseas Christmas mail, but I still have to send to a few family and friends here in South Africa, hopefully Friday! 🙂

I usually do a mixture myself!

What a wonderful time of the year. I have been working on some cards and parcels to post tomorrow. These days I buy cards and also send e-cards. My twin and I used to make a lot of Christmas cards. I have also been sorting out my decorations. I am a bit late with some things but will be ready by Christmas Day!:) I love Christmas carols and have been listening to some of my CDs. Today I have linked up my post about Christmas carols. Thanks a lot for hosting and continue to enjoy the season.

We don’t send a lot of cards, mostly to relatives who live far away. I have three widows/widowers on my list and a longer list of widows/ers and divorced people that I send Valentine’s cards. So I made 18 cards to send out.

Awesome Sharon – the people on your list will appreciate those cards more than you know!
Where did the time fly! I’m so far behind this year… Thanks for hosting & Merry Christmas!

Hi Ramona – we are in full celebration around our little house! Thank you for this fun hop and for all your creative inspiration. I’m planning on a few new craft tutorials and eBook patterns this winter. And now that I have a little time when I’m not working on all of the Ruby projects, I will be working on a few of my own writing projects. Keep up the good work, my friend, and have a joyous and blessed Christmas celebration! BIG Hugs, Nina

Urgh I haven’t even started Christmas shopping when usually at this time of year I’m all done or at least very close to be finished. I may need a stunt double this year. Looking forward to some blog hopping and hopefully finding some much needed xmas cheer and gift ideas.

Good evening – I hope your day was wonderful! Thank you for hosting this hop!
I like to make my cards. I mail them to those I won’t see anytime after Thanksgiving, but for those that I will see before Christmas, I like to hand deliver! This year I am including some seed packets in my cards with some tomato black turtle bean seeds that I saved from my summer crop! Have a wonderful weekend!

says:
Love your idea of enclosing the seed packets in your cards!
Have a wonderful weekend Vickie!
I’m not mailing out Christmas cards. I wanted to do photo cards because I love them! But didn’t have a “card worthy” photo. Next year I may help Eli make his own cards to mail to the grandparents but I’m not sure yet :).

I love photo cards too! Hope you are able to come up with a photo worthy card this year!

You too Marie – so glad you could join us!
We don’t do Christmas Cards since I know they’ll just get thrown out by the family and friends. If we did they would be home made. Thanks for the great hop, new participant.
