I have lived in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Florida but Nebraska will always be my home, I was born there, my family is there and I will go back there.

How cool that you have lived in so many places Angela – but home is where our family is!
Thanks for entering our giveaway – best of luck to you! 🙂

  2. Ruth says:

What a fun win this will make…
    Awesome!

  3. When I was younger, the place that felt most like home was wherever my mother was; it didn’t matter what state we lived in, or how crappy the school was, I wanted to be near my mother. Now, I know that Mississippi is my home. I long to be near my family, even though I prefer not to see most people (no matter where I am), due to my health. I want to hear the night sounds, be able to walk barefoot outside without pain (can’t do that in Nevada), smell the summer wind, have a real garden, and enjoy the changing colors of fall.

      What a beautiful answer Michelle!
I am no longer living in the place that I was raised and reading your response brings back so many summertime memories!

Thanks for entering our giveaway – this book will make a wonderful introduction to the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series for you should you be one of our lucky winners! 🙂

I’ve lived with my grandparents in Europe and I also moved around a lot. The most cozy home feeling that I have is where i lived the longest with my parents in Toronto. Thank you.

I have moved around a lot – all my life. So, home was & mostly still is, where ever my parents happened to be. My Mother lives up on the Sunshine Coast QLD, my favourite place in the world & my home away from home now.

Everywhere I have lived has always been home because my family was there! It’s really family that makes a house a home! I am so blessed because now, I live right next to my sister, and my other sisters and my dad live very near to us too! Patsy from HeARTworks

  7. Becky in Georgia says:

The house that felt most like “our baby” was the house that we were involved with the building from the beginning. We were able to personalize it from the very beginning. That being said, each house that we have lived in has become our home and a cherished place to live.

What a joy that must be to live in a house you’ve designed with your own hand!
I agree though – every place one lives in some way becomes one’s home.
Thanks for joining us for this very special giveaway – best of luck to you! 🙂

  8. Chelsey says:

Out of all the places I’ve lived, my parents home has felt the most like home. Great memories were created in my parents home and my childhood was wonderful.

  12. melisa says:

We were military for years and have lived all over the world. We learned to make our home wherever we were. I think of all of the places we’ve lived, I’d have to say Colorado is the one that is the one place I’d call “home” ~ that’s where all of our family is.

  13. Jim says:

Where I now live is home and feels most like it. My wife and daughter have grown up here and it is a place I have made ours.

  14. The home I grew up in will always be home to me and today I live close to it in a home I designed myself and chose all the finishes and furnishings for, so this home also feels most like home to me.

  16. Pam says:

I grew up in CA so that will always be home. College was a home away from home where I formed my best friendships. I’ve lived for a time with friends and they always made me feel at home. Now I own my first real home… mine all the more as I have been able to create my own beauty and style in decor. Thanks for the giveaway!

  17. I’ve lived in NC for more than half my life now, moved first with my parents, met my husband here and raising our boys here. It’s more home than anywhere else because it has the best memories with my family in it.

Great giveaway, thanks for the chance to win!

  18. Merry says:

When we lived in Texas it felt most like home as our little ones were growing up

  19. Crystal Green says:

In my little home in a small town called Smoaks, SC, even though that’s where my hell began in my life! I had many wonderful memories of riding my horse around 18 miles every Saturday (when the weather permitted it) and chatting it up with all of my neighbors.
I love all Chicken Soup books.

  20. We lived on a lake in Florida, I loved the warm weather, the birds and the beautiful water

  21. heidi says:

The house I live in now. I’m just used to it after 13 years.

  22. I have lived all over california and now in new mexico…to be honest, i loved the area i grew up in, but after seeing how much it has changed since i was there before…i could never find myself living there again. But when my father in law was near death, we came to visit him here in new mexico, and I fell in love with it…I honestly didnt want to go back to california even tho i knew i needed to pack…this place has everything that calls to me, beauty, nature, wildlife, beautiful flora and fauna, the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you can imagine…so my favourite place to live…Rio Rancho, NM
